A best friend, a loyal companion? Trevor may just be your guy! This handsome, eager to please fella was found as a stray, completely emaciated. He gained over 25 pounds and looks like a completely different dog! Trevor is crate trained, but much prefers having less restrictions and more freedom. His house manners have been stellar in his foster home -- no accidents or incidents. Trevor loves people, a love bug that wants to be the center of someone's world! Hanging out and being in your presence & playing with his K-9 companions fulfills his days. Stuffed Kongs are certainly on the favorites list too. This sweet boy is a highly intelligent and rapidly picked up on learning an array of commands to include sit, lay, paw, kennel, down and no. Trevor also enjoys going for a car ride & will gladly offer to ride shot gun on all your important trips... petstore, mcd's, bank with a drive thru giving out cookies, etc. Trevor has been exposed to a vast array of other dogs, both big & small. He would love to have K-9 companions, but surely would not argue with being a SHD (single hound dog) & the center of attention. Cats seem super fun to chase (eek!) and would NOT be recommended. An adoption process is required to include filling out an online adoption application available at the following link -- https://www.k9rescuees.org/info/adoption Veterinary and personal reference checks, and a home visit/meet-n-greet are required PRIOR to being approved to adopt. The time frame for completing this process depends largely on how quickly references respond, your vet office is able to speak to us (some want written permission first), your landlord or HOA (if applicable) confirms their approval for a pet, & how your schedule aligns with that of our volunteer(s) for the Home Visit. ~~~~~~~~~~ PLEASE NOTE ~ All of our rescue members are volunteers with many obligations.
