Story
Meet Harley — a 9-year-old Black Lab mix with the chill energy of a seasoned couch connoisseur and the heart of a gentle soul. 🖤 Harley is basically the definition of “low drama, high reward.” Indoors, she’s calm, polite, and perfectly content to lounge by your side — or better yet, on the couch, which she absolutely adores. (Stairs and tall furniture can be tough on her achy joints, so she may need a little encouragement to hop up, and the bed might be a bit too ambitious for her.) Outside, she enjoys a slow wander, following you around the yard like your quiet little shadow, and she’s happy to join you for a walk when you’re ready. She’s crate-trained and house-mannered. Although Harley can live with other laid back pets, she will thrive being the only dog. She is perfectly fine with cats, and stays calm around horses as well. Once she warms up to you, she’ll be your loyal, steady companion everywhere you go — indoors or out. She does get a little anxious in new situations or when meeting new people, so a patient adopter who lets her go at her own pace will win her trust in no time. And once she feels safe? She’s all love and devotion. Harley is currently working on her “summer bod,” so she'll need a human committed to helping her shed a few pounds. She’d do best with kids 13+. At night, she’s made it very clear she prefers to snooze near her people — after all, why sleep alone when you could drift off beside your favorite humans? If you’re looking for a sweet, easygoing companion who’s equal parts loyal friend and professional nap partner, Harley’s ready to curl up next to you and make herself right at home. 🐾💤 If you’re looking for a sweet, easygoing companion who’s equal parts loyal friend and professional nap partner, Harley’s ready to curl up next to you and make herself right at home. 🐾💤 If you are interested in finding out more about Harley, please fill out an adoption application by copying and pasting the following link into your browser: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/BRO/Dog Harley is in Berlin, MA. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of the dogs, we are only guessing at the predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label. We expect that all adopted dogs will enroll in a formal dog training class with their new owners. Obedience and training classes are an excellent way to learn more about your newly adopted dog, gain handling and training experience, and improve your relationship with your pet.

Story
Meet Raven — a 2-year-old, 60-pound Labrador Retriever who runs on joy, enthusiasm, and absolutely zero spatial awareness. 🐾😂 Raven is wonderful with her foster mom’s kids and has a heart as big as her personality. She is deeply, passionately, and unapologetically obsessed with toys. Stuffed, squeaky, bouncy — if it exists, Raven wants it in her mouth immediately. Now, a fair warning: Raven does not fully grasp that she is a medium-sized dog with actual mass. When she jumps onto the couch, she does so with the confidence of a puppy and the momentum of a bowling ball. She doesn’t guard her toys at all — she just grabs them enthusiastically, occasionally forgetting that human hands and legs are attached to the process. No malice, just pure Labrador enthusiasm. Because of her “full-contact play style,” Raven would be best with older kids who can laugh, dodge, and appreciate her lovable clumsiness. Raven is sweet, playful, and endlessly entertaining — the kind of dog who will make you laugh daily and keep life interesting. If you’re looking for a happy, toy-loving, slightly uncoordinated best friend who lives life at full speed, Raven is ready to cannonball straight into your heart (and possibly onto your couch). 🐶💥❤️ If you are interested in finding out more about Raven, please fill out an adoption application by copying and pasting the following link into your browser: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/BRO/Dog Raven is currently in Millbury, MA. Story
Parker is an 8-year-old dog we’ve had since he was a puppy. He’s a big boy but still acts like a playful puppy at heart. He absolutely loves food and will happily eat anything offered to him. He loves food (maybe a little too much!), so his portions need to be watched — he previously lost weight and is now much more active and happy because of it. Our schedule has been very busy, so while he regularly goes out into our fenced backyard, we haven’t been able to walk him consistently. Because of that, he tends to pull on the leash during walks. He does great with other dogs (he currently lives with two others!) and is good around kids. He just prefers not to be bothered too much and appreciates his personal space. Parker is fully house-trained and does not have accidents indoors.

Story
Meet Loki Loki requires a stable, low-stress home. He will not succeed in a busy, chaotic, or frequently changing environment. He needs time to build trust, but once that trust is established, he forms a strong bond and is very affectionate with his person. Loki is not a small dog—he weighs around 70 pounds and doesn’t always realize his size. For his age, he is very active and physically strong.Loki enjoys daily walks and will let you know when it’s time to go. Despite being around 8 years old, he remains strong on leash and needs a confident handler. He loves hiking, tug-of-war, and spending time outdoors—especially sunbathing in the summer.Loki’s requirements:Adult-only householdNo other petsFully fenced yard (required)Stable, low-stress environmentPatient, experienced adopters willing to move at his paceMultiple meet-and-greets and a home visit required to ensure the right fit for his forever homeLoki does best with routine, clear boundaries, and limited visitors. Story
Meet Rocky 💙🐾 Rocky is a fun-loving, goofy, almost-one-year-old pup with a huge heart and an even bigger personality. He’s affectionate, playful, and thrilled to be around his people—whether that means romping around with toys, going for walks, or just hanging out nearby. Rocky is very social, friendly with visitors, and bonds quickly with the people he loves most. This handsome guy has lots of happy young-dog energy and would thrive with an active adopter who enjoys playtime, enrichment, and helping a smart pup continue to learn and grow. Rocky knows his basic commands, rides calmly in the car, does well with other dogs when introduced thoughtfully, and has lived with children (though his excitement and size mean he’d do best with kids who are comfortable around energetic dogs). He’s truly a loyal, loving companion who just wants a home where he can get the time, attention, and exercise he deserves. Rocky is ready to bring joy, laughs, and lots of tail wags to his future family—could that be you? 🐶✨
