Story
Meet Harley — a 9-year-old Black Lab mix with the chill energy of a seasoned couch connoisseur and the heart of a gentle soul. 🖤 Harley is basically the definition of “low drama, high reward.” She’s calm, polite, and perfectly content to lounge by your side — or better yet, on your side — as long as you’re around. She’s crate trained, house-mannered, and recently proved she can be trusted uncrated (even while her foster family went out to dinner — good girl, Harley!). She does get a little anxious in new situations or when meeting new people, so a patient adopter who lets her go at her own pace will win her trust in no time. Once she feels safe, she’s all love and loyalty. Harley’s currently working on her “summer bod” so she’ll need a human committed to helping her shed a few pounds. She’s great with other dogs (she’s currently besties with her Beagle foster brother, Jasper) and has lived with a cat. She'd do best with kids 13+ years of age. At night, Harley made it very clear she’d prefer to snooze near her people — after all, why sleep alone when you could be snuggled up near your favorite humans? If you’re looking for a sweet, easygoing companion who’s equal parts loyal friend and professional nap partner, Harley’s ready to curl up next to you and make herself right at home. 🐾💤 If you are interested in finding out more about Harley, please fill out an adoption application by copying and pasting the following link into your browser: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/BRO/Dog Harley is in Millbury, MA. The adoption fee is $400. Like Broken Tail Rescue on Facebook!. Follow Broken Tail Rescue on Instagram! Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of the dogs, we are only guessing at the predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label. We expect that all adopted dogs will enroll in a formal dog training class with their new owners. Obedience and training classes are an excellent way to learn more about your newly adopted dog, gain handling and training experience, and improve your relationship with your pet.

Story
Meet Raven – Your Loyal, Ball-Loving Sidekick 🎾 Raven is almost 2 years old and 100% ready to find her forever home—and her forever tennis ball. This sporty sweetheart is: • ✔️ Potty trained • ✔️ Great with other dogs • ✔️ Knows “Sit”, “Kennel”, and now "Down" like a champ • ✔️ Obsessed with tennis balls (like, truly... it’s a lifestyle) • ✔️ Loves going for rides in Foster dad's truck • ✔️ Highly food motivated and loves treats—that helps with training! She's got energy to burn but is doing well on a leash, improving with every walk—she's the kind of girl who wants to get it right and is eager to learn. Raven came from a home with a woman and kids, but she seems to prefer men. She warmed up to her foster dad almost immediately, but takes a little longer to trust women. No drama—just a girl with a few emotional layers. With her brains, heart, and snack-seeking superpowers, she’s been adjusting beautifully in foster care and is looking for a home that gets her: one with patience and plenty of playtime. If you’re looking for a loyal, sporty companion who will proudly carry tennis balls in her mouth like trophies and give her heart to the man of the house (and maybe the woman too, eventually), Raven is ready for her next adventure 🐾 If you are interested in finding out more about Raven, please fill out an adoption application by copying and pasting the following link into your browser: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/BRO/Dog Raven is currently in Millbury, MA. The adoption fee is $500. Like Broken Tail Rescue on Facebook!. Follow Broken Tail Rescue on Instagram! Story
Meet Ciera, a high-spirited bundle of puppy energy who is always ready to go, go, go! This sweet girl has a huge zest for life and an equally big heart. While she may not have mastered her manners just yet, she makes up for it with her affectionate, cuddle-bug personality and her eagerness to be close to her people.Ciera is still learning how to navigate the world, and she’ll need an adopter who’s ready to put in the time, patience, and positive training she deserves. She has shown some food aggression toward other animals, so she’ll do best with someone experienced and willing to work with her. If you’re looking for a loving, energetic companion who will keep you on your toes all day and snuggle up at night, Ciera might just be your perfect match.
