Story
You simply have to meet Harper! This 3 year old lab mix just brings happiness everywhere she goes! Whether she's bouncing and bounding after a ball that you throw for her or flopping on her back for her favorite belly rubs, she's always just so sweet, lovable, and perfect. Harper is full of energy and playful puppy-fun, but she's well-behaved too. She's strong on a leash but settles right down once she gets her jumpies out. She's housebroken, very gentle with taking anything you give to her, she sits when asked and is calm and mellow when she's laying around indoors, just hanging out with you. She never met anyone she didn't like and Harper seems good with other dogs too. There's not a thing about her you won't love! Call 609-693-1900 or email: office@ahsppz.org for an application. Story
Aquafina never met a stranger! She's your best friend the moment she meets you! She's just 1 1/2 years old and Aquafina is a lab/pit mix. She is definitely part Labrador as is evidenced by her longer hair and other features and of course, she's an expert fetcher! Aquafina was unfortunately, abandoned. She has an old injury to one leg and and some bone chips too. Something sad went on in her past but she's put all of that behind her and she's so happy to make new friends and have new adventures! She stands and gives you a hug and she's well-mannered and extremely sweet. Aquafina is strong but good on a leash, housebroken, and she sits and stays when asked. She also loves running and playing and seems happy to meet other dogs too. She's best with older kids. Aquafina is looking forward to bringing lots of joy to your life when you welcome her home! Story
Beau would give anything to go back to a great home, where he belongs. Beau is a 5 1/2 year old Lab/Great Dane mix that was raised right, loved very much, but unfortunately, his owner became terminally ill and could no longer care for him. Beau was quite sad when he arrived and was nervous and down, and really didn't know what to make of his new situation. Since he's made new friends, that's all changed. Beau is so happy now to meet people and once he knows and trusts you, he bonds with you forever. He now enjoys going out for walks and even has lots of fun, kicking around his favorite giant orange ball! Beau is a strong guy on a leash but he's otherwise very well-behaved. He sits immediately when asked and he's gentle taking treats too. Beau is overjoyed to be with friends and his tail never stops wagging when he's out with those he's comfortable with. Beau is not a fan of other dogs and he's afraid of cats, but he'll sure love you if you just give him a chance! Email: office@ahsppz.org for an application . File#70949 3/2/24

Story
This dog is part of our shelter outreach program where we take dogs from overcrowded shelters in hopes of finding them a forever home here! We generally do not have much background info on them and cannot guarantee they are housebroken.  They are all up to date on vaccines, spayed/neutered and microchipped.  5-6 years old.  53lbs. Great dog who can into an overcrowded shelter as a stray.  He is dog friendly and currently hangs out with Luna here.  He just needs basic obedience because he never had any!  He is strong so needs to work on his leash manners.  His is very energetic even for his age!  George is looking for an active home with a fenced yard and a commitment to obedience class.  *Per JSAC policy, puppies and kittens under 6 months will not be adopted to families with children under the age of 6 years.April 24, 2024, 4:39 pm
