Story
This dog is part of our shelter outreach program where we take dogs from overcrowded shelters in hopes of finding them a forever home here! We generally do not have much background info on them and cannot guarantee they are housebroken.  They are all up to date on vaccines, spayed/neutered and microchipped.   6-7 months old, 20 lbs.   From Puerto Rico to the Jersey Shore! The Sato Project reached out for help, and of course we couldn’t say no. Meet three very special siblings, Bailey (boy), Lily, and Lexi (girls),  who just made the big trip in search of a brighter future.  At about 6 months old and 20–25 lbs, these cuties will likely grow to a perfect medium size (around 30-35 lbs full grown). As for their breed mix...well, that’s part of the fun! They’ve got the look of labs, shorter legs like bassets, and faces that resemble greyhounds or whippets. Whatever the combo, the result is 100% adorable.  We are looking for active homes with secure yards for these pups, along with families ready to commit to training and obedience. With the right guidance, they’ll grow into outstanding canine citizens.  Sweet, lovable, and ready to be someone’s best friend,  these pups are eager to start their new lives here in NJ. Could that be with you?*Per JSAC policy, puppies and kittens under 6 months will not be adopted to families with children under the age of 6 years.October 16, 2025, 3:37 pm

Story
Meet Jax, an almost five-year-old Lab mix with the sweetest face and an even sweeter heart. He came in as a stray wearing a collar with his birthday on it, but no one ever came to claim him. With his November birthday around the corner, we’re hoping he’ll get the best gift of all—a real home. Jax is a total lovebug who lights up when he sees his people. He enjoys walks, has great manners, and knows his basic commands. He’s a fetch pro, loves attention, and just wants to be part of a family. He’d do best in a home without cats or young kids, but he’s friendly with female dogs and eager to please. Jax is up to date on everything, neutered, and ready to start his next chapter—hopefully with you. If interested, please apply at pittiesandpals.com. Many other dogs need our help, please consider donating or sponsoring a dog, if possible. 100% of all money received from adoption fees and donations goes directly back to support saving other dogs through Pitties and Pals Rescue. Pitties and Pals is a 501c(3) non-profit and we are 100 percent volunteer based. Please consider donating. We appreciate your support. Visit pittiesandpals.com.

Story
Thor is an adorable all-black male puppy with a sweet white chin, most likely a Lab mix, though his exact breed is unknown since he and his littermates were found as strays and were most likely dumped. He is estimated to be about 6 weeks old and currently weighs around 5 pounds. Based on his age and size, Thor may grow to be around 50-80 pounds when fully grown, but this is only an estimate and his adult size cannot be guaranteed. Thor is a happy, playful puppy who loves attention and has already mastered the art of giving puppy kisses. We are currently accepting applications for foster-to-adopt or committed adopters. Thor will be neutered once he reaches the appropriate age as part of the adoption process. Since he is still very young, his personality is continuing to develop, making him a great fit for families looking to raise and train a puppy from the start. Puppies are undeniably cute (who doesn't love a puppy?), but they also require time, patience, training, and a lifetime commitment. Thor is looking for a family who understands the responsibility that comes with puppyhood and is ready to provide the love, structure, and care he needs to grow into a wonderful companion. To learn more about Thor, please reach out to arcwithlove@gmail.com or apply directly on our website at arcwithlove.com under the Adoption tab.
