Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Edith is with our rescue partner in Louisiana and can come to NJ if we find a foster or adopter. Edith is a very sweet and energetic young girl who is ready for a fresh start. She and her sister Gloria were pulled from a shelter by a couple trying to save them, but they were then kept in chicken coops until rescue. Despite everything, Edith’s gentle heart and love for people have remained strong. She is an active, curious pup who loves to play and explore. Edith gets along well with other dogs and enjoys being around people. She is relatively quiet, but she has plenty of energy and would thrive with an active family who can help her burn it off in healthy ways. Edith would benefit from basic command training to help her settle into a routine. Because she can be a bit bouncy, a home without toddlers is recommended for now, simply to avoid accidental knockdowns. If you are looking for a loving, lively companion who is eager to learn and even more eager to love, Edith may be the perfect match. Edity is up to date on vaccines and is fixed. Her  adoption fee is $550.    Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training   prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through they deserve a loving, committed home. If you are interested in learning more about me, and possibly making me part of your family, please go to  wag-on-inn.com . She rides beautifully in the car (the perfect backseat passenger) and walks like a dream on leash, always respectful of other dogs she passes. She has the cutest little quirks that make her extra special. She loves stretching into her “downward dog” pose, and when you come home or it’s time for a walk, she does an adorable little tap dance with her front feet because she’s just that excited to see you. It’s impossible not to smile when Vivi is happy. Vivi is truly the sweetest thing ever and is so ready to shower her forever family with love, loyalty, and cuddles. If you’re looking for a gentle, easygoing, snuggly companion who will be your shadow in the best way, Vivi might be your girl. Vivenne is fixed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Bridget is a beautiful, affectionate girl who’s searching for a forever family to call her own. She came to us from our partner rescue in Louisiana and is now thriving in her New Jersey foster home. From the moment she arrived, Bridget has shown what a truly special soul she is. Bridget adores people and has a gentle, welcoming nature that makes her an instant favorite. She loves greeting new friends with a happy hello (and sometimes a hug!), curling up next to you on the couch, or simply being close to her humans. She’s the perfect mix of playful and laid-back—always happy to enjoy a good walk or trail adventure, then relax by your side for the rest of the day. She enjoys playtime, especially a good game of tug, and occasionally gets short bursts of playful energy with her toys. Bridget is crate trained and mostly house trained, though she’s still learning her routine and may have the occasional accident. She’s also working on her leash manners, as she can pull when she’s excited, and she’ll benefit from basic training since she doesn’t yet know commands. With her sweet temperament and eagerness to please, she’s sure to blossom with a little guidance and consistency. Overall, Bridget is a loving, friendly, and gentle companion who gets along well with everyone she meets. If you’re looking for a loyal best friend who will fill your home with love, companionship, and joy, Bridget may be the perfect match for you. Bridget is fixed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. She is heartworm negative.   Her adoption fee is $45 0. How to Adopt Me! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Storm is a beautiful and silly 3 year old pittie-lab mix looking for her forever home. Storm was surrendered to the rescue through no fault of her own, as their owner is currently receiving medical treatment. She is now in a loving NJ foster home. She has adjusted quickly in her foster home! She loves playing with other dogs (big and small!) and would do great in a home with another playful pup to run around with. Storm is people and kid friendly. She is very interested in cats and would need slow, supervised introductions. She can be initially skeptical of men, but her love can quickly be bought with treats! Storm is fully house trained and great in the car. She is learning basic commands and working on polite greetings. She loves giving kisses, going for walks, and is happy to accompany you on any adventure! At the end of the day, she will snuggle up next to you to watch your favorite show or movie. Storm would thrive with an active family or individual who enjoys daily walks and playtime and can give her all the love she deserves. If you’re looking for a happy and affectionate sidekick, Storm is excited to meet you!    Storm is spayed, up to date on all vaccines, and will be microchipped.
