Hunter & Marley This beautiful father–daughter duo lost everything when their beloved owner passed away. A devoted  local  family member stepped in and gave them a home for the past year, but with two dogs already and strict housing rules, they were left with an impossible choice. With heavy hearts, they had to say goodbye. Now Hunter and Marley are starting over. Marley!  Marley is a beautiful 6-year-old Lab/Shar Pei mix weighing 51 lbs. With her sweet personality and soulful eyes, it's hard not to fall in love with this lovely girl. At 6 years old, Marley is past the puppy stage but still has plenty of life, love, and adventures ahead of her. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Sheila, a happy-go-lucky Lab mix with the sweetest face, adorable little white “socks,” and a personality that will instantly make you smile. This lovable girl is full of affection, charm, and playful energy, and she truly believes she’s meant to be a lap dog - all 47 pounds of her. Sheila is the kind of dog who brings joy wherever she goes. She loves attention, enjoys playtime, and is always ready for snuggles with her favorite people. Friendly and outgoing, she greets new people with a wagging tail and an open heart. She even handled a guest appearance on the local news like an absolute star, soaking up the attention with confidence and charm. This sweet girl is housetrained, crate trained, leash trained, obedient, and eager to please. She rides well in the car, enjoys toys, and has a wonderfully even-tempered personality that makes her an easy companion to love. Sheila has a moderate energy level with fairly low exercise needs, making her just as happy cuddling on the couch as she is enjoying some playtime or a walk. Sheila gets along well with other dogs and does great with kids and adults alike. However, she would do best in a home without cats. More than anything, Sheila is looking for a family to adore. She’s affectionate, goofy, loyal, and full of love to give. Her perfect match is a home where she can be included in everyday life, spoiled with belly rubs and snuggles, and appreciated for the sweet, joyful companion she is. In return, Sheila promises endless love, laughter, and a best friend who will happily keep your lap warm whenever you let her. Sheila is up to date on vaccines and tested negative for heartworm. Sheila has been spayed and has a microchip. Her adoption donation is $500.  Adopting an animal is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these animals have been through they deserve a loving, committed home. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 17, 2026, 4:01 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.NJ Meet Benny!! This handsome guy is about a year and a half old and ready to be someone's new best friend! Benny is a black lab mix with the most gorgeous coat-with soft shades of brown that shimmer in the sunlight.  If you're looking for a friendly companion who just wants love and to be loved, Benny is your guy.  He would make a wonderful family dog, although he does play rough so older children are recommended.  He is always ready for a walk, a cuddle, or simply hang out by your side. He will be best placed with a fur-friend and he needs a fenced in yard to burn some of his puppy-energy.  He is somewhat trained but the energy level is such that he requires a yard.  He will sleep peacefully in your room in his crate! His vet gave him trazadone to keep him a little calmer (and I mean, a little) than is his normal self since he just went through HW treatment but he does already test negative so that's wonderful news!  He will need to be retested next January or February just to be sure.  Wag On Inn will retreat if required at that time if the adopter agrees to take him to our HW specialist in Barnegat, NJ.    Benny is fixed, micro-chipped, and up-to-date on vaccines. His adoption donation is $500.  Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through they deserve a loving, committed home. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 17, 2026, 4:01 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Pickles – Small Pup, Big Personality! Pickles may have had a rough start, but you'd never know it from his happy-go-lucky attitude. This adorable black Lab mix was found all alone at just 5 weeks old when a kind Good Samaritan scooped him up and got him to safety. Since then, Pickles has been making up for lost time with plenty of love, playtime, and puppy shenanigans! This little chunk is equal parts sweetheart and spitfire. He loves toys, enjoys entertaining himself, and is always ready for a game with his canine friends. When he's finished playing, he's happy to soak up affection and cuddle up in your lap. Pickles is friendly with everyone he meets and gets along well with dogs, cats, and kids. Like any young puppy, Pickles is still learning the ropes. He's currently working on crate training and house training and will need a family committed to helping him continue his puppy education. Luckily, he's an intelligent little guy who is eager to learn. Pickles is expected to grow to around 50 pounds and will make a wonderful companion for a family ready to embrace all the fun, laughter, and love that come with raising a puppy. Whether he's making you smile with his goofy antics, riding along on car adventures, or snuggling up after a busy day, Pickles is sure to steal your heart. Looking for a loyal best friend with a playful spirit and a heart of gold? Pickles is ready to be your perfect match! Pickles is up to date on vaccines and has been treated for puppy parasites. Wag On Inn will arrange for neuter and microchip at 5-6 months of age at The Spay and Neuter Center of New Jersey in Holmdel. Adopters must live within driving distance of Holmdel, NJ. His adoption fee is $600.  Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training  prior to adoption.
