Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Edith is with our rescue partner in Louisiana and can come to NJ if we find a foster or adopter. Edith is a very sweet and energetic young girl who is ready for a fresh start. She and her sister Gloria were pulled from a shelter by a couple trying to save them, but they were then kept in chicken coops until rescue. Despite everything, Edith’s gentle heart and love for people have remained strong. She is an active, curious pup who loves to play and explore. Edith gets along well with other dogs and enjoys being around people. She is relatively quiet, but she has plenty of energy and would thrive with an active family who can help her burn it off in healthy ways. Edith would benefit from basic command training to help her settle into a routine. Because she can be a bit bouncy, a home without toddlers is recommended for now, simply to avoid accidental knockdowns. If you are looking for a loving, lively companion who is eager to learn and even more eager to love, Edith may be the perfect match. Edith is up to date on vaccines and is fixed. Her  adoption fee is $550.    Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training   prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through they deserve a loving, committed home. If you are interested in learning more about me, and possibly making me part of your family, please go to  wag-on-inn.com . Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Percy- the definition of a "good boy" At  1 year old and 57 pounds of golden lab love, Percy is everything you could hope for in a furry best friend. He's the total package: friendly, gentle, and just perfect. This handsome boy arrived on our 1/10 transport and he's doing very well in his foster home. Percy is the kind of dog that just fits - the one who greets you with a wagging tail and lots of love! He loves people, adores other dogs and kids and is fine with cats. This affectionate boy will follow you from room to room and he loves to give you kisses and hugs when he hasn't seen you in a while. Some of his favorite things include playing with toys, chews and his foster brother. He enjoys lying by the glass door and watching the birds, squirrels, and cars outside. Percy still has some puppy energy and would benefit from regular exercise and mental enrichment. He's very food motivated and a fast learner. Percy is smart, trainable, and picks up commands quickly! This good boy comes when called, knows sit and down, and he's working on other commands. Percy is still working on his leash walking skills - he loves to walk but pulls a bit. His foster has had a lot of success using a harness with a front clip. Percy is fixed, up to date on vaccines. Percy tested positive for heartworm and has begun treatment. We are looking for a foster to complete his treatment here in NJ with 2 visits to Barnegat Animal Clinic. His adoption fee will be $450.  Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training  prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through they deserve a loving, committed home.  CLICK HERE TO FILL OUT AN ADOPTION APPLICATION! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.  Beau is an adorable boy looking for a new home. He is part of our surrender program. He was adopted from us about six months ago, and although his mom is heartbroken to make this decision, she feels it is the best one for him. He is cautious meeting new people but warms up quickly. He is very attached to his person, so would thrive with a couple or family with older kids to help him gain his confidence.  He loves other dogs, and currently attends doggie day care. He plays nicely and would benefit from a doggie sibling of comparable size to run & play with in a fenced yard. He is a couch potato in the home & loves to snuggle. He sleeps in his crate at night and is fully housebroken. Although he was fostered in a home with cats & respectful, we are not sure if he would do well with cats at this time. He is neutered & fully vetted.   Beau’s  adoption fee is $450.  Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training   prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through, they deserve a loving, committed home. CLICK HERE TO FILL OUT AN ADOPTION APPLICATION! You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Aurora is a beautiful pup who is in need of a new home. She is with our partner rescue in Louisiana and will be arriving in NJ with her sister on 2/7. Meet Aurora, the little heart-stealer with a gorgeous dark brindle coat and the personality to match!  She’s equal parts playful and snuggly — the kind of pup who thinks belly rubs are a full-time job (for you). Aurora’s mom is a petite black lab mix, around 35 lbs, who wandered up to the perfect home just in time to have her babies. Mom hit the jackpot and is staying put (spayed and spoiled!). Dad? Well… let’s just say the neighborhood Rottweiler apparently had the freedom — and the charm — to roam!  Now little Aurora is ready to find her own forever home — somewhere she can keep perfecting her puppy zoomies and get all the love she deserves.  Ready to adopt some sunshine with a brindle twist? Aurora can’t wait to meet you!
