Story
Hershey is an adorable lab mix boy. He is mostly black with white markings and so cute. He is 4-6 months old and weighs about 30 pounds. He is a sweet, cuddly boy who is coming out of his shell and learning so much in his foster home. He is playful and friendly with other dogs.his foster mom has this to say about him:The first pic is after I told him no for jumping on the table. He then sat there and waited patiently. Very responsive to training. He is good with other dogs and wants to play. Great with kids. Has a good amount of energy. Doesn’t pull on the leash which is a dream. Wants to be with you but waits patiently by the door until you tell him okif you want to meet Hershey fill out an application Interested in adopting this pet?Click here for BCAA's on-line Application! Story
Hi!  My name is Duane I am looking for a forever home.  Me and some of my friends were rescued from a pretty bad situation where we lived outside all of the time in a small pen and we were all pretty emaciated and missing most of our hair.  Our initial foster home spent a lot of time doctoring us and giving us lots of good food so now we look really good.  She then reached out to BCAA to see if they could help us all find good homes and they said yes ... yeah!  I appear to be a doodle mix, just not sure mixed with what.  I am guesstimated to be about 5 years old but I act more like a 1-2 year old as I'm a happy boy and am now loving life; I weigh a little under 55lbs and could probably gain another couple of pounds.  I have a beautiful, silky black coat which has grown back beautifully.  Even with my past, I love people and getting attention.  When I'm with the other dogs, I just love to run and play and I am a little on the goofy side.  I will need to find a home without cats, though, as my foster mom says I'm showing too much interest in them.  While I will settle down in a crate, I really would prefer to be out.  My foster parents are working on my housebreaking skills and I'm doing better as long as I get out on a regular basis.  I'm starting to get the leash thing down as I have figured out it means I can be out with you and going on an adventure but some additional training wouldn't hurt.  And talking about training, I really, really love my food and treats which you can use to help me learn new stuff.  If you would like to meet me, please fill out an application which can be found at www.bcaaofnj.org. Interested in adopting this pet?Click here for BCAA's on-line Application! Hi!  My name is Dudley I am looking for a forever home.  Me, my brother and a couple of my friends were rescued from a pretty bad situation where we lived outside all of the time in a small pen and we were all pretty emaciated and missing most of our hair.  Our initial foster home spent a lot of time doctoring us and giving us lots of good food so now we look really good.  She then reached out to BCAA to see if they could help us all find good homes and they said yes ... yeah!  I appear to be a doodle mix, just not sure mixed with what.  I am guesstimated to be about 10 mos old and currently weigh a little over 33lbs.  I now have a beautiful silky black coat which has grown back beautifully.  When I first meet new people or go into new situations, I am shy; however, with the 3 T's (time, TLC and treats) I start coming out of my shell and learning I can trust, then I love getting attention and am a "leaner".  I love playing with the other dogs, particularly my brother and haven't paid much attention to the cats I've encountered.  I will use my crate as a safe place to escape to and as long as I'm taken out on a regular basis, and my foster parents are working on my housebreaking skills and I'm doing better.  I'm starting to get the leash thing down as I have figured out it means I can be out with you and going on an adventure but some additional training wouldn't hurt.  And talking about training, I really, really love my food and treats which you can use to help me learn new stuff.  If you would like to meet me, please fill out an application which can be found at www.bcaaofnj.org.Interested in adopting this pet?Click here for BCAA's on-line Application!
