Story
Jasmin is a jolly lab mix about 3 years old and 47 pounds. Jasmin would do best in a quiet neighborhood where she can be dotted on as the princess of the household. She is a very sweet girl but has not had a lot of experience with suburban life so it can be a bit overwhelming for her. A rural house in the country with lots of land would be a dream for this country girl! She would settle for a fenced in yard alternatively. Our adult dog adoption fee is $350 which includes each animal is fixed, up to date on core vaccines, microchipped, heartworm &/or 4dx tested, kept on monthly preventions, and dewormed. If you are interested in adopting any of our animals please fill out an application on our website lastchanceranch.org. PA Kennel License #4518

Story
Meet Queenie. Wait until you meet this beautiful 7 year old chocolate lab named Queenie. This mature queen takes her duties very seriously, as she wants to please.  Queenie loves car rides, walks, baths, and sitting outside on the porch.  Queenie is learning to sit and walk calmly on the leash.  Queenie is 85 pounds of pure love, is heartworm negative, and has healthy gums and teeth.  She is solid muscle and sometimes is unaware of her strength, so she may be too pushy in the company of toddlers and the elderly at the time . Queenie is crate trained, potty trained, comfortable being alone for up to 4 hours or more, and sleeps quietly in the crate all night without issues.  Queenie does love to be with kids. Because she wants to trim down, she would prefer a fenced in area( she LOVES being outside), or an adopter who would exercise her daily.  She adjusting well in her foster home and learning how wonderful it is to live in a home. Queenie will thrive in a home without cats as she is overly interested in them. Queenie is now spayed and had a two mammary lumps removed which were completely benign. She is up to date with vaccines, microchipped and tested negative for heartworm. Her adoption fee is $250.00. Story
Meet Zuri! Our beautiful little girl that is mixed with all sorts of gorgeous dog elements that include most probably Border Collie/Husky mix.  This crystal blue eyed girl has waited a long time to have her chance to be offered for adoption.  You see she was part of a cruelty case back in October and was severely malnourished and was pregnant with babies.  All her pretty babies have been adopted but poor Zuri was left behind.  She was taken from the small TN shelter last month to decompress and learn some home/family life.  She is ready now for a wonderful new family to call her own .  This girl is a mature and settled 3-4 years old, spayed, UTD on vaccinations, HW- and ready for the good life with a family that will love and cherish her forever. Her beautiful blue eyes and open personality will make you love her instantly.  This girl loves to run and play in the yard with other dogs and absolutely loves the water! She does good as your passenger in the car for pup cup runs and would do good in a home with older, dog savvy children that are 10 years and above. She is still learning not to pull on her leash and is doing very good at her sit command. Zuri just wants her chance to prove that she’s a great family member and cuddle up with you at night!  If you are interested in this housebroken, crate trained, pretty girl that deserves the best life from her on out…please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com     PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJuly 19, 2024, 1:52 pm

Story
Our handsome young small Lab mix boy named Finnick is the sweetest and most adaptable dog you could ever adopt.  He like a miniature Lab that is only 35 pounds and was born in around August of 2023.  This dog is in a foster home with two other dogs, 3 cats and two empty nester adults. His foster mom calls him “AMAZING”. Despite not having a good  start in life, he’s a well-adjusted, trusting, and loving soul.  He just wants to bond with the people he lives with and we have promised that we will search high and low for a truly wonderful family or person to make him a part of their life. This guy called “Finn” for short, is cuddly to the max and wants to be held and snuggled.  He’s smart as a whip and training is a breeze because his sole aim is to please his person.  You don’t need training treats, just give him positive attention and he’s at your command. He has a great nose too and can find whatever might be hidden, be it moles in the soil or crumbs under the fridge. When meeting new people, he’s cool and calm and a little bit introverted but never shows the least bit of aggression and is quick to warm up and become  friends after just a few minutes. Give it a little more time and shower him with pets and praise and then you’ve got a true blue buddy for life. He spent an evening with a human toddler and was soon buds by the end of the evening.  With his easy-going temperament, quick trainability, and loving nature he could easily become a therapy or service dog.  He looks like a small version (35lbs) of a black lab with a white chest blaze. A mini-lab . . . what could ever top that for a perfect canine companion? If you are interested in this loveable boy then contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJuly 19, 2024, 1:52 pm

Story
Luna is a beautiful young Lab mix girl who has endured a very unstable start to her life that has left her shy and unsure of herself at just 5-6 months of age.  This 25 pound girl is precious in body and soul and craves a confident hand to show her how to enjoy the world around her with joy and delight.   She is so pretty and actually her ears stand up when she is not being shy for the camera.  This sweet girl lived in a single bedroom of a disabled man for months and finally Critter Cavalry Rescue was able to secure a foster home for her to leave and get the great foster home that could work with her to build her self-esteem.  She rides well in a car and walks nicely on a leash.  She is wonderful with cats, other dogs and shyly accepts attention from strangers.   She will be a new girl in a short time of living with a competent and capable foster mom and family.   She would be wonderful with children too!  We envision this girl going to live with someone that has another confident, mature dog and who can take her on walking adventures and playful times in a fenced backyard.  Luna will be a top weight of 45 pounds when fully grown.   She has all the good stuff in her heart and soul and personality to be one of the move loving dogs you could ever adopt into your home.  If you are interested please write to us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJuly 19, 2024, 1:52 pm

Story
Nina is a little girl who was born around Mid-May and the family who had their dog give birth, moved away from their country rental and left 10 puppies behind with no plan for food or water…..just an outdoor pen.  After several months of a neighbor feeding them, Critter Cavalry Rescue was called in to help take them from the pen and give them a chance to find homes.  This girl survived months of abandonment and starvation and has emerged with a few social hesitancies and insecurities, yet a smart mind and loving soul.  She is crate trained, housebroken, wonderful with children that are young, other dogs and also cats.  She is a champ when it comes to being there for you but socially skittish when there are loud noises, sudden movements from outside and thunderstorms.  Nina is coming in to a place that she is showing confidence and not scared of certain things.  She will get there soon, but will need someone that doesn’t require her to be perfect.  She truly is perfect in so many ways despite her really challenging early months as a litter that was abandoned.  Nine is a lab/Pit mix that is beautiful and 44 pounds and a full weight as an adult.   She is very sweet and loving and good with children,  dogs, but NO CATS…..she loves to chase.    She is housebroken and she is crate trained and is a true outdoor girl. She loves to sunbath on the back patio and she welcomes the opportunity to meet new people.  She is pretty good on a leash and good on car rides and great recall that usually works for her.  She is a companion puppy.  She is a Lab/Pit mix and has the heart and soul of a Golden Retriever.   If you are interested in giving this homeless girl a new life and family, please email ccrtennessee@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.July 19, 2024, 1:52 pm
