Story
Buddy was bought from a breeder. He is around 80 pounds, house broken, crate trained, chipped, trained to sit stay an retrieve. He is high energy and excitable. My husband passed in march this year. I just turned 75. He is too strong for me to handle. He needs someone younger who can exercise him a play with him. I have his health records but not sure if he needs booster shots. He likes being petted but is definitely not a hugger or lap dog. He is a house dog rough an tumble only Kong toys or rough dawg will destroy others.

Story
Hi!   I’m Zoey!! I’m supposed to tell you about myself…hmmmm where to start?!!! Well, I found myself at the local dog pound for a few months in 2024.  While the people there were super nice to me, I’m so happy to be in my foster home.  I got to go there on New Years Eve and had a GREAT time ringing in the New Year in a home.  I got to go to the vet, at which they said I was a VERY sweet girl.  The vet thinks I’m about 5 years old, but I certainly don’t act my age.  I’m healthy, spayed, and fully up to date on my vaccines & preventatives.  I LOVE to play with my foster dog cousin that is only about 4!  We have so much fun together.  And I LOVE to run around in the yard too!  Once I’m tired out from play, I like to just chew on a bone or take nice LONG naps!  Oh yeah and I love to cuddle too! In addition to my foster cousin, I currently live with 3 other dogs (seniors), 2 cats (whom I am great with!), and my foster mom & dad.   I haven’t been around kids really, but I’m pretty sweet to everyone I meet.  Just love attention and TREATS, which I take very gently!! I am housebroken, sleep well in my “room” (crate), and don’t even mind car rides! I’m pretty much a happy and fun-loving girl that would love a home and family to call my own!!  Our adoption process starts with our application. Once the application is approved, a member of Legacy will contact you to set up a home visit. The home visit usually last 1-1.5 hours and is to make sure our dog and any current dogs/cats are getting along, as well as both of us agreeing it's a fit. At this time the adoption fee is due, and begins the 2 week trial. We will check in during the 2 week trial. If it's not working, our dog is returned to the foster home and all except $100.00 {$75 if Senior} of the adoption fee is returned. At the end of the 2 week trial, you decide if you will finalize the adoption - if finalized, the Adoption Contract is signed and all medical records are turned over to you. If at any time you need to rehome the dog it contractually needs to be returned to Legacy Dog Rescue. ADOPTION FEE's: Puppies under 6 months:  $199.00 Adults:  $150.00 Seniors (over 7 yrs):  $99.00 If you are interested in one of our dogs please fill out an application: https://form.jotform.com/193425528783165

WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Wemby - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Hey guys, the name’s Wemby, and yep — I’m named after the one and only Victor Wembanyama! Me and him have a lot in common: 1️⃣ We’re both long, tall, and muscularly lean 2️⃣ We love to play ball (fetch is my FAVORITE!) 3️⃣ He’s from France, and I happen to love French food... or really, any food 😋 I’m a 6-month-old, 35-pound bundle of joy, full of wiggles, kisses, and goofy charm. Life is my playground - ready to be enjoyed with enthusiasm!! I’m a “living-life-large” kind of pup, always looking for the next adventure or belly rub. Whether it’s a chill afternoon at home or an active day out, I’m all in if it means spending time with my people. I’ve got a shiny coat that practically glows in the sun (you might need your shades 😎), and a cute little black nose with pink spots that adds to my irresistible charm. I’m super social, and I adore people of all sizes – tall, small, and everyone in between. I love walks, tough chew toys, naps, giving kisses, and I recently discovered my new obsession: WATER! Splashing, swimming, wading – it’s all my jam and a perfect way to beat the summer heat! I’m ready to bring joy, laughter, and lots of love into the lives of a lucky family. Could that be you? 👉 Apply to adopt me at haydudequine.org – let’s make every day a slam dunk together! 🏀💙

WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org Benny “You are the bridge between what was and what will be... my pathway to a new life.” Looking for your next FBF (furry best friend)? Well hey there, fabulous folks – that would be me, Benny! I’m here on the hunt for something I’ve never had before… a family to call my very own. And since you’re reading this, I’m hoping that someone might just be you. My journey didn’t start out easy. My mom, siblings, and I were dumped in a rural area along a busy highway. Terrified, we found shelter in an abandoned house and tried to survive the best we could. Thankfully, some kind neighbors noticed us and began bringing food and water. They contacted this amazing rescue, and now I finally have a second chance at the life I deserve. I’m about 8 months old and, despite my rocky beginning, I have a very sweet and gentle nature. I’m have learned that not all people are scary—that yes, pets, kind words, and cuddles can be really nice. With patience, love, and a steady supply of treats, I’ll reward you with tail wags, soft kisses, and a heart full of loyalty. I love to run and play with toys and my siblings. Because I’ve always been part of a pack, I’d do great in a home with another playful dog stealing...err sharing toys and doing zoomies around the yard!! I get along well with other foster pups here—from big dogs to small. Although I haven’t met any of those mysterious creatures called cats, at my age, with proper introductions, I should do just fine! My mom’s DNA came back as Aussie/Border Collie/Great Pyrenees mix, and Dad… well, he was a charming traveling salespup making the rounds. I’ll likely grow to be around 40–50 lbs—a great size for all sorts of adventures. Mom was adopted and her new family is head over heels in love, thinking she's the next best thing to sliced bread or maybe in my case, even milkbones!! - Sweet with a medium energy level...an absolute doll - Loves other dogs and would do great with a canine companion - Smart, playful, and eager to love and learn - Will thrive in a patient, loving home - A true rescue gem waiting for her happy ending If you’re looking for a gentle soul to grow with—someone who will quietly become your most loyal companion—please stop scrolling and consider giving me a chance. Apply today at haydudeequine.org – I’ll be waiting with hope in my heart and love to give.
