Story
This is Gravy! He is a four year old Black Lab/Pitbull mix. His favorite activity is cuddling up with humans to take a good nap. He loves to play and is an ace at cleaning up any food that may fall on the floor. He is fully housetrained and knows basic commands such as sit, stay, shake, come, and lie down. He is an excellent travel buddy, even on long car rides! Gravy has lived with a couple and their cat for four years. He's about 65 pounds, gets excited when meeting new people, and would do best in a home without small children. If you're looking for a sweet boy who is a big love bug, Gravy is your man! Dog supplies included if desired (bowls, leashes, bed, etc).

Story
GuinnessThis little boy is an old soul in puppy form. While he is always down to play with a good toy and chase around the yard with friends, he tries acting older than his age. He already tries to sleep on the floor with the big dogs in the house instead of with his siblings, he prefers to stay out of chaos and look handsome on the outskirts. He is a lover not a fighter and such a sweet boy. He is a fast learner and has picked up so much from his foster siblings and adores trotting around mimicking them. He is great with dogs and kids. Story
Echo - He is a Golden Retriever/ Husky mix that is 18 months old. Echo was surrendered because his owner was gone 10-14 hours a day. He seems to have some confinement anxiety caused by being home left alone so often. That is probably why he does not like to be crated or left alone in small spaces. He is on medication for the anxiety which is helping tremendously! Since coming to into rescue he has been neutered and is now fully recovered. His current foster wrote the following: Echo has made good progress over the last few weeks. He is smart and attentive and is learning a couple new commands and will follow his person around the house like a shadow. Having spent his first year and a half basically confined and not really having the chance to socialize and be a puppy, he is sort of going through his puppy phase now. He loves attention! He can be very affectionate and will try to climb up on your lap to snuggle. He acts like a 5 month old puppy in an 80 lb. body. Echo is a very strong chewer and will destroy even the most durable balls and toys in seconds and should probably be limited to Nylabone type toys. At least for now. While he is getting better, he still pulls very hard on the leash, especially if he sees a bird or squirrel. He should be in a harness or gentle leader on walks. A fenced yard would be ideal so he can run off all that excess energy. Echo is currently taking medication for anxiety and may need to be on meds long term. Because of the anxiety, he shouldn't be left alone for any long period of time until he feels comfortable in his surroundings. He can be a real sweetheart and with some training and patience, he could be a great friend and companion. Echo would do best with a fence for his energy and someone who can dedicate time to working on his training.
