Story

BANDIT, recently groomed and clipped, is a long legged Lhasa Apso, who is 6-7 years old, 17 pounds, and has been an only dog with the same family (who could not keep him), since puppyhood. Bandit's only flaw is that he is overly loyal and protective, and will take a nip out of a stranger's foot or ankle if they suddenly come too close. Lhasas are a very ancient breed and were fierce little sentinel and guard dogs for the Dalai Llama and Buddhist monasteries in Tibet. The 14th Dalai Llama sent them as gifts to the West, and they have been a favorite ever since. Bandit is neutered and vaccinated and eager to be welcomed into his new home where he can be the dedicated guardian he was meant to be. Meet Bobby - The Gentle Senior Lhasa Apso. Bobby is approximately 15 years old and is currently in a foster home. His foster mom says he’s a real joy to have around. He adores his foster mom so much that he follows her around everywhere. Cuddles and belly rubs are his absolute favorite. He’s potty trained and has excellent leash manners, making him a great companion for a relaxing stroll around the neighborhood. He’s not a marathon walker but he does enjoy the fresh air. He prefers a gentle pace.
