Meet Ambrosia! Ambrosia is a graceful, striking mama cat who arrived at her foster home in April 2025—pregnant and calm as can be. She raised her five kittens with quiet confidence and devotion, proving herself to be a truly wonderful mother. Three of her kittens have already found their forever homes, and two (DW and Arthur) are still with her and also available for adoption. Now it’s Ambrosia’s turn. She genuinely enjoys being around people, but she’s not demanding or clingy. Ambrosia likes to keep her humans company by following along from room to room or perching on a nearby cat tree to observe the world. When she’s feeling especially comfortable, she’ll roll over and show her soft belly—a gentle sign of trust. Ambrosia likes petting and brushing, but prefers affection on her own terms. Her foster mom believes there’s a snuggly lap cat waiting to emerge once Ambrosia is in a calm, patient home where she can finally enjoy one-on-one attention instead of a busy foster environment. She does well with mellow, easygoing cats but doesn’t appreciate pushy or territorial companions. Ambrosia would be perfectly happy as an only cat or with another laid-back feline friend. Food is one of her great joys—she’s very food-motivated and always ready for mealtime. Between naps, she enjoys wand toys and laser pointers and can switch from relaxed lounger to playful hunter in seconds. Ambrosia is a thoughtful, gentle soul who will thrive with someone willing to give her time and space to build trust. For the right person or home, she’ll be a deeply rewarding and loving companion.
