Story
Missy (f) is a beautiful Maine Coon mix who found herself living alone and in need of a new person to love when her senior, human dad passed away. She will take a minute to warm up to you but will quickly become your best friend. Missy is 5 years old and the perfect age if you are looking for a kitty who is playful but not high energy. She is talkative but not excessively. Missy also has perfect potty manners. Our gorgeous fluffy lady has lots of love to give to the lucky person or family who adopters her. We think Missy would do best in a quiet home as an only fur companion. ##2357057##

Story
Sage is a gorgeous one-year-old longhaired cat who was left in a cage outside of a rural shelter in Virginia and very quickly became a shelter favorite before landing in one of our foster homes here in Washington, DC. She continues to amaze everyone she meets here with her calm confidence and friendly demeanor. Whoever adds this sweetie to their family will be very lucky! Sage is done with her kitten vaccines, spayed, microchipped, and has wonderful litterbox manners. The adoption fee for this kitten is $175, which helps with the cost of routine vet care. Story
Plea for help from Jonathan: “My friend and I took in several feral cats a while ago. Most are now socialized and many are bonded pairs/families. Since we are both experiencing severe health problems currently and a move from the area has become necessary, we can no longer care for the cats. We are looking for good homes for them.   We are located in Clinton, MD (southern PG County). The best method of reaching us is: zcathouse.md@gmail.com”   Mushmellow [a.k.a. 'Mush'] (NM, Brown Tabby?, DLH?/Maine Coon?, ~7+ years?) & Scout (NM, Black, DSH, ~6+ years?) Mush[mellow] never liked hanging out at the salad bowl, but his food bowl is his claim to fame and weight gain. Scout waits patiently for his turn. And even though Mush also hogs their bed, Scout still loves him and they always work it out. They are best buds for life! Two gentle giants who were found at our local Rite Aid, and are, thus, referred to as the "Rite Brothers". That said, we don't know whether they are siblings, or even related at all, though it is clear they are strongly bonded and have great affection for one another. Mushmellow was initially quite larger than Scout, so we believe there may be some age difference. Whatever the case, they are both big dudes who will need lots of exercise - along with a relatively strict diet. Mushmellow has a tendency to give some pretty strong 'love bites', but he means well. Scout, on the other hand, likes to make sure he knows where his 'brother' is most of the time.   Disclaimer: AAHA provides complimentary listings for members of the community who wish to rehome their pet, as well as for other shelters/ rescues to assist them in finding Furever homes. Story
Named after a ruthless French revolutionary, Robespierre is actually rather gentle and kind. He’s playful but cuddly, and his tiny meows will remind you that he’s only four years old. Robespierre is curious about everyone and everything and also somehow unbothered by anyone or anything. He has a stunning black coat, as he’s mixed with Maine Coon and domestic long hair. When he’s not hunting his toys or receiving direct cuddles, he loves to lounge around the house. He was originally adopted as a kitten from a small rescue in Pennsylvania, but until recently, he lived in a home with multiple other animals and his pet-loving owner. He was surrendered to Tiny Cat Animal Rescue at the end of October when she entered hospice for a terminal illness. Robespierre would be a delightful addition to your home—whether he’s joining your crew of cats or dogs or coming with one of his siblings (Jules or Guy).

Story
Squeaky was surrendered to a high kill shelter when their elderly owner passed away.   They have been through alot and they miss their mom. Both sisters are used to a quiet home with other cats.  They love it when you talk to them gently and pet them.  They would love to be able to go to a home together where there is a lap or two to warm. Squeaky has a very small meow thus her name.  She will talk to you if you say her name.  She is the ultimate lap warmer who loves to lay in sunny places and cozy beds.  She loves her wet food and treats.  she is definitely a foodie! Adoption fee: $100/200 pair, includes all shots, sterilized, dewormed, deflea, microchip   If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application and a representative will get back to you shortly to answer any questions you may have. Story
So before Leo got brought into this world, We (my family) had two cats named Luna and star. They had babies and that’s how Leo came about. She’s now seven years old. She was a family cat and has been trained and raised with us since she was a baby .When I moved out of my mom‘s house, I took Leo with me and she’s been staying with me ever since. Leo is a very, very loving cat. She loves being pet. There was times where we used to let her roam outside and she would just love to get pet by anybody who walked past ANYBODY. She loves cuddles. her whole life she’s lived with other pets. She does require frequent brushing also. Now that I am moving and I’m not able to bring her with me this time,I am looking for a home for her and looking for people who will love her just as much, but if not more than I do. she does require frequent brushing and wiping.
