PLEASE NOTE: This dog is currently out of state but will be transported to Massachusetts shortly with no additional travel costs. Roughly 90% of our dogs are adopted prior to their transport up to MA and 10% are adopted locally.Meet Dexter! Dexter is approximately 5 years old, 13 lbs at the moment, and he may have some Maltese in his mix. In his foster home, Dexter is working hard on his house-training, crate-training, and leash walking. He could join households with kids 10+, and other dogs. He has not been exposed to cats. No apartments, please!His foster says, `Dexter is a pint-sized little fellow that has been easy to foster. He gets along with dogs about his size and would be fine with kids 10+. He likes car rides, does great crated and would be a wonderful addition to his very own family. At his previous home, he wore a belly band so as not to have accidents inside. It has worked great here also.`He is available for adoption in N Dartmouth in 11/9. Ollie came to us recently as an owner surrender. His senior citizen owner is suffering from early stages of dementia and the family felt like it was best that they look for a home now. The owner does have one small dog remaining with her.  He is very low-key and super affectionate. Definitely would call Ollie a lap dog. He thrives best in a low-key environment and would be terrific for a retired couple, or someone without a bunch of activity in their household. He is one year old and fully vetted. Sharing his baby pictures as well as recent pics. ##2847982##
