*Name: Gemma *Age: 1 yr   *Current Weight: 14 pounds*Rescued from: Puerto Rico*Adoption fee: $550 (includes $50 refundable positive training commitment deposit) *Health: Up to date on vaccines Gemma and her sister Emma were picked up as strays after weeks on the street. They are couch potatos and enjoy snuggling and sun bathing. They do however enjoy their walks and are great on leash. We are hoping to find a family willing to adopt both girls together.  Gemma & Emma are traveling to us soon, and ready to go home the weekend of 5/17.  To apply to adopt, fill out an application at www.rescueallthedogs.org/adopt. Please note that RnR is a volunteer-based organization. While volunteers review applications as quickly as possible, it is helpful if you review the following information about our adoption process:LISTED BREED(S) & AGE: We are taking our best guess on age, breed, and size when fully grown, based on the dog's physical appearance and what we might have learned about one or both parents. We rarely know a dog's exact age or full breed mix of dogs, as our information is usually limited.RNR’s ADOPTION PROCESS: The first step in adopting or meeting one of our adoptable pups is to fill out an application at www.rescueallthedogs.org/adopt. Once we receive your application, one of our volunteers will contact you, review our adoption process, and answer any additional questions you may have. It is important to note that we do not go on a first-come-first-serve basis for adoptions but on the best fit for a family and, most importantly, the dog.MEETING ADOPTABLE DOGS: Meet and greets will not be scheduled until your adoption application is submitted and reviewed.APPLYING ONLINE: When completing an application, please do so from a computer (not a mobile device); make sure you answer ALL the questions in as much detail as possible and that you receive a confirmation email ##2051040##

Story
Winter was in a shelter when COALDR found her and brought her into rescue. She’s estimated to be at least 10 and is missing most of her teeth which causes her tongue to hang out the side of her mouth in the most adorable way. Other than that, she’s in excellent health and has the energy and personality of a much younger dog. She does have some anxiety and seems to get nervous around loud noises. Being picked up seems to really frighten her but she does calm down and will calmly let you hold her. She LOVES to cuddle too once she’s comfortable She’s good with dogs and cats, unknown with children but would probably be less anxious around older kids. She can be very anxious at times. She prefers quiet and will run and hide when her foster siblings get excited and start barking. Her foster mother has never seen/heard her bark. She also has severe anxiety when it comes to being picked up which makes it difficult to get a harness/leash on her and she doesn’t walk well on leash once it’s on her. She will need to have a fenced in yard because of this. She does settle down once picked up and will calmly allow herself to be held. She’s very sweet and loving, always wants to sleep next to foster momma in the big bed but she definitely has a startle reaction to being picked up-like she was grabbed. A lot. Winter may not have many teeth but she LOVES to eat and given the chance she will get into the garbage or anything left within reach. She is fully housebroken if taken out frequently and regularly but will also use pee pads inside Winter doesn’t seem to care about toys but she LOVES running around foster mom’s yard chasing the chickens and ducks. She has a surprising amount of energy for being what the vet estimated to be at least 10. She has a true joy and excitement for life and never fails to make her foster mom smile and laugh at her silly antics Winter just recently had a dental, she is spayed, microchipped & up to date on vaccinations. Could this precious pup be your next family member? Please apply for Winter at www.coaldr.org.

Story
Latte is a 7 year old female Maltese/Yorkshire Terrier mix. She is loving towards anyone she meets. The perfect companion. She is playful, and cuddly. She is dog friendly, cat friendly and kid friendly. Latte was severely mistreated by her previous owners and developed extremely large kidney stones. Altruistic worked with an independent foster to get her treated and she now has no signs of kidney stones. Due to her previous frequent urination, she is not yet potty trained. She is a smart girl and is going outside and on pads about 60% of the time. She is good with cats, dogs and children.

Story
Meet Riley!Listen, we love Riley. We do. She's cute, she's fluffy, she's a real life muppet, she's sentient dryer lint with eyes, she's ADORABLE. She's a 10yo maltese mix that we THINK weighs around 12-15lbs but...it could just be floof. And anger. As much as we love Riley, she is the epitome of cranky old lady unless she likes you. She'll tell you off, she'll grumble, she'll give you dirty looks, she'll essentially make you feel guilty for doing something that you weren't even aware you did. She stomps her little feet and huffs impatiently and it's literally like having someone's sassy vovó following you around. If she DOES like you, though? She's in your lap, hopping all over you, making friends and giving you kisses. She's smart and curious and loves pets and walks like a dream on a leash. She's all cuddles and snuggles and sitting pretty and showing off like the good girl she CAN be...but mostly chooses NOT to be.We always say that we let the animals choose their adopters...with Riley, this will be so, painfully accurate that it's not even funny. She DOES, however, want to be your center of attention and can get a little possessive of treats and toys, so she needs to be the only animal in the home and we would prefer any children in the home be at least 12yo. Visit foreverpaws.com and click adopt to download our application. Once complete, you can email it to us at fpas1@foreverpaws.com or fax it to us at 508-677-9175.
