Meet Darla, a 4-year-old sweetheart weighing in at just 9 pounds! This adorable little lady may be small, but she's packed full of personality, love, and charm. When Darla first came to us, she had very thin fur, likely due to a flea allergy that caused significant hair loss. The good news? Her coat is growing back beautifully, and she's feeling better every day! In her foster home, Darla has been thriving. She loves playing with the other dogs, going for car rides, and exploring the world around her. Her foster mom says Darla's favorite thing is simply being with her people. Whether it's running errands, going on adventures, or curling up on the couch for a snuggle session, Darla is happiest right by your side. She's active enough to enjoy life's adventures, but she's also a professional cuddler who will gladly help you relax after a busy day. ADOPTION PROCESS 1. Review our adoption contract and application. 2. Call your vet and references to inform them that a rescue representative will be calling. 3. CASHMERE is also still looking for her furever home.  Cashmere(Cash) is a 7 yo Maltese weighing 12 lbs that we rescued from a commercial breeding kennel. Cash had to have her remaining teeth removed due to decay but has no trouble eating food. She has a great appetite and runs over when hears the refrigerator door opening. She goes potty outside, walks daily around the neighborhood on a leash, enjoys good soft food and exploring the yard. She is good with every dog we meet and our pitbull. She is good in the crate overnight and I have left her for 4-5 hours during the day with no problem.  She knows “go potty”.  Her crate has also been dry overnight. She will also be happy to sleep in your bed with you all night. She knows come, time to eat, let’s go for a walk, and of course No. She will need another calm dog in the home to show her the ropes and build her confidence. I do have a fenced yard and that would be preferred as she loves it. But if no fence, she will need to be on a leash to be safe and need a daily walk or two. She is still shy and will need someone with patience and know that it takes time for them to trust you.  Mill dogs make the best pets ever who will bond with you forever.  Cashmere is now spayed, up to date with vaccines and microchipped. She tested negative for heartworm and has been started on monthly heartworm prevention. Her adoption fee is $250.00.
