Happy, loyal and active Bonded pair of Maltipoos looking for a Maltipoo experienced family. Please contact us to submit an application directly at Kzyrnr17@yahoo.com or info@dogdiggityrescue.com or https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HTX/Dog Laverne and Shirley are 18 mos to 2 yrs old 11 to 15 lb Maltipoos. Someone dumped this bonded pair of gals severely matted and full of fleas. They are very happy now that they have been groomed. They are in a foster home with another foo foo dog. They are kinda shy and timid at first but bond to people. They are crate trained and leash trained. They use a doggie door to go into back yard that is securely fenced. They love hanging out with people and on the furniture. This bonded pair will require a securely fenced yard and frequent grooming. San Antonio area has over 800,000 homeless pets. We save homeless and abandoned dogs and find them loving forever homes in other areas, where pet homelessness is not epidemic. All of our pets are located here, in San Antonio, and we partner with rescues to provide transportation for our pets to their new homes. Our adoption fee includes vet care (vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchipping, etc), as well as transportation and health certificate. Please contact us to ask about our adoption process and our adoption fees.

Story
We are still getting to know sweet Tigger, a Malshi (Maltese x Shih Tzu) puppy with an absolute heart of gold! He is very young, and his personality, energy level, and adult size will continue to develop as he growsbut he is already showing what a special, affectionate boy he is. Tigger is currently being fostered in a home with kids and absolutely loves them! He is a total people-dog who lives for snuggles, warm cuddles, and being right by your side. Combining the cheerful, sweet nature of the Maltese with the sturdy, loving charm of the Shih Tzu, Tigger is the ultimate family companion. Even better, he is already making great progress in his routine and sleeps wonderfully in his crate overnight!   As a young puppy, Tigger is intelligent and eager to please, though his small size and sensitive nature mean he thrives best with gentle, positive reinforcement training. Adopters should still be prepared for typical puppy behaviors as he finishes growing upincluding teething, chewing, ongoing house-training, frequent potty breaks, and fun bursts of puppy energy.   The Right Home   Tigger will thrive in a home that can provide: Kids or family members who love to play and shower him with affection Patient, consistent house-training and frequent potty breaks Positive-reinforcement training and early socialization Daily playtime, mental enrichment, and age-appropriate exercise Plenty of companionship, cuddle time, and inclusion in daily family life Patience through normal puppy phases like teething and chewing A lifelong commitment to regular grooming, coat care, and veterinary visits He is not a good fit for someone looking for a dog that can be left alone for long periods immediately. About This Dog Name: Tigger Breed: Malshi (Maltese / Shih Tzu mix) Gender: Male Age: Puppy Health: Current on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and provided with a health certificate. Adoption Details We only adopt within Illinois and Wisconsin and only respond to applications made on our website at thecharlieprojectdogrescue.com. An adoption fee of $800 fully covers essential medical start-up care, including current vaccines, future boosters provided by one of our rescue volunteers, as well as future alteration surgery and rabies vaccination at one of our partner veterinary clinics. Alternatively, we offer a $100 reimbursement if you prefer to use your own primary veterinarian for the alteration surgery. Story
Hi, I’m Ace, your future fluffy shadow! I’m a 20-lb Maltese with a soft white/buff coat and a heart that’s all about cuddles and companionship.A few things about me:• I’m a great walker and don’t pull on the leash.• I love being close to my people — expect me to follow you around and try to hop into your lap for pets.• I’m currently on a weight-management diet so I can stay healthy and active.• I’m potty trained and will go to the door (sometimes with an excited little jump!) to let you know I need to go out.• I take medication easily with a little chicken broth and a few tasty treats. My party trick: I can sit up on my back legs with my front paws in the air… and even dance a little! My foster is still trying to catch it on camera. My personality:I thrive on praise, affection, and being near my humans. I’ll also let you know when someone or another animal is nearby — I like to keep watch over my home.Things we’re still learning:We’re not quite sure yet how I do with cats or men, but my foster is helping figure that out. If you’re looking for a sweet, fluffy companion who loves cuddles and being by your side, I might be your guy.You can also watch for stories, pictures and videos about me on our Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/JrsPupsNStuffInc or https://www.instagram.com/jrspupsnstuffAsk to meet me today!!Adoption fee: $550All dogs/puppies have been fully vetted including spay/neuter, micro-chipping, worming, heartworm testing and preventative treatment, flea/tick preventative, and all required age appropriate vaccinations.
