Spike is a handsome maltipoo mix. He can be a little shy at first, it takes him a minute to trust someone and warm up. But once he does, you have best friend for life! He is a very happy cuddly dog. Spike has the most fun natural blonde Mohawk that just adds to his charm! DOB 5/8/24 and around 25 lbs. Spike prefers a home without cats and, honestly, would do best as the only furry companion. He can be a bit of an attention hog and doesn’t like to share his favorite human! He would also do best in a home with no kids or kids over 12, who will respect his personal space while he adjusts to a new environment. Elizabeth Taylor is a 6.5 year old Maltese with her whole life ahead of her! She came to us as a breeder release, so everything is new and a little bit scary for her right now. With patience and consistency, she will quickly learn how good life can be! So far, she is doing well with other dogs and is mostly uninterested. She would probably be the same around cats, as she’s only 15 pounds and would be similar to their size. She is shy with new people, but seems to be enjoying spending time outside and decompressing with her foster family! She’s doing well in her crate and working on potty training, and mostly just taking it easy while she acclimates. And we are just fine with that! She hopes her adopter will be just as patient and let her come out of her shell in her own time, so if you are able to provide her that stability and kindness, please let us know! Maybe a Unicorn family so to speak? I’ve been called “A terrible dog”. Unpredictable and just plain crazy. People just haven’t been able to understand my quirks. I’m nothing but misunderstood!! I do need some time to adjust as something in my past has left me very nervous. My human mom passed away and I was put into the system. I’m used to a quiet and peaceful home. My human foster sister is my most favorite person ever and her mom is pretty nice too. If you have patience and lots of love I’m your guy! Am I a bit of a challenge? Maybe!! Am I cute as cute can be? Definitely!!, Am I worth the effort? You bet I am!! I am an adorable and smart little boy. When I like you….I would do anything for you!! If I don’t, then I’m a bit of a tiny Jerk!! Gideon is a sweet senior who found himself in need of rescue when his owner had to go to a nursing home. He is young at heart and loves going on walks 3 or more times every day. He adjusts easily to a schedule and is good about doing his business outside. Some of Gideon`s favorite things are playing with his toy rabbit, sitting on his person`s lap, and sitting outside in the evening greeting everyone who walks by. Gideon recently went to a groomer and charmed everyone there! They took turns holding him and had nothing but good things to say about how well he behaved. Gideon gets along with other dogs.
