Story
Meet KevinRetired. Relaxed. Ready to Be Your Tiny Best Friend.Kevin has exactly three goals in life:Follow his favorite people.Sample every snack you have.Find the sunniest spot in the yard and pretend he's on vacation.Frankly, he's absolutely crushing all three. This 8-year-old, 6-pound Maltese was found wandering the streets of Georgia, somehow surviving on his own until a kind family took him in and searched for his owner. No one ever came.Which is honestly unbelievable. Because Kevin is the kind of dog people spend years hoping to find. He's sweet. He's gentle. He's funny without trying. He loves every person, every dog, every cat, and approaches life with the attitude that everyone is probably going to be his friend.Golden Retrievers that outweigh him by 80 pounds? No problem.Cats? "Nice to meet you."Complete strangers? "Welcome! I've been expecting you."Kevin is basically the mayor of Tinyville. His foster home has two huge Golden Retrievers and another dog, yet Kevin happily toddles right into the middle of the pack like he's been running the neighborhood watch for years. If the wrestling gets a little too rowdy, he simply excuses himself like the distinguished gentleman he is."I'll be over here...not getting body slammed."Smart choice, Kevin.Every morning begins with what may be the greatest thing you'll ever witness.Kevin wakes up... Stands up... Shakes with his whole tiny body... Shakes so enthusiastically that he occasionally tips completely over... Then pops right back up with the biggest smile and a wagging tail as if to say, "Nailed it."It's impossible not to laugh.Kevin also believes personal space is highly overrated. If you're making coffee... He's supervising.Doing laundry... He's helping.Walking to another room... He's already halfway there. Not because he's needy. Because life is simply more fun together. His favorite hobby is serving as the Chief Snack Quality Assurance Officer.Chicken? Approved.Cheese? Exceptional.Dog treats? Five stars.Random crumb that fell on the floor? Outstanding culinary experience. He's still putting a little healthy weight back on after his days as a stray, and he's fully committed to the assignment.Kevin's activity level falls somewhere between "pleasant neighborhood stroll" and "professional sunbather." Give him a Hawaiian shirt, a beach chair, and a tiny umbrella drink (filled with water, of course), and he'd happily spend the afternoon convincing everyone retirement is underrated. He enjoys walks, exploring with his people, and lounging wherever the sunshine happens to land. His only complaints in life? Cars are suspicious. Crates are unnecessary.Everything else? He's remarkably easygoing.Kevin is housebroken as long as you keep him on a schedule, rarely barks, doesn't shed, and sleeps like a little gentleman—starting the night beside your bed before wandering off to whichever cozy dog bed looks most appealing. His bloodwork showed mildly elevated kidney values when he first entered rescue, likely due to whatever life looked like before he was found. He's now eating a kidney-support diet along with supplements, and we're hopeful those numbers continue to improve. Otherwise, Kevin is healthy, happy, and ready to write the best chapter of his life.Kevin's Résumé:Professional shadowCertified lap warmerSnack connoisseurFriend to dogs, cats, and humans alikeLow-maintenance roommateSunshine enthusiastHawaiian shirt model10/10 adorable face (seriously...have you seen it?)Kevin doesn't need adventure. He doesn't need excitement. He doesn't need a mansion. He just needs someone who'll let him tag along through life's ordinary moments. Morning coffee. An afternoon walk. A cozy nap. A few treats. A soft bed. Someone to love. After surviving life on the streets, Kevin has decided those ordinary moments are actually extraordinary. And if you ask him, the best vacation isn't somewhere tropical. It's finally being home.Albert's Dog Lounge is a specialty rescue focusing primarily on senior and special needs dogs. Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and then a meet and greet with the dog. Story
Hi, I’m Ace, your future fluffy shadow! I’m a 20-lb Maltese with a soft white/buff coat and a heart that’s all about cuddles and companionship.A few things about me:• I’m a great walker and don’t pull on the leash.• I love being close to my people — expect me to follow you around and try to hop into your lap for pets.• I’m currently on a weight-management diet so I can stay healthy and active.• I’m potty trained and will go to the door (sometimes with an excited little jump!) to let you know I need to go out.• I take medication easily with a little chicken broth and a few tasty treats. My party trick: I can sit up on my back legs with my front paws in the air… and even dance a little! My foster is still trying to catch it on camera. My personality:I thrive on praise, affection, and being near my humans. I’ll also let you know when someone or another animal is nearby — I like to keep watch over my home.Things we’re still learning:We’re not quite sure yet how I do with cats or men, but my foster is helping figure that out. If you’re looking for a sweet, fluffy companion who loves cuddles and being by your side, I might be your guy.You can also watch for stories, pictures and videos about me on our Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/JrsPupsNStuffInc or https://www.instagram.com/jrspupsnstuffAsk to meet me today!!Adoption fee: $550All dogs/puppies have been fully vetted including spay/neuter, micro-chipping, worming, heartworm testing and preventative treatment, flea/tick preventative, and all required age appropriate vaccinations. Story
Meet Amber Amber is a 5-year-old Maltese weighing just 10 pounds, looking for a loving forever home through Tiny Paws Small Dog Rescue. Amber came from a puppy mill, so she is still learning that people can be kind and trustworthy. She can be timid at first, but she is making progress every single day with patience, love, and gentle encouragement. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and especially loves her best friend, Betty. The two of them run and play in the fields together and are constant companions indoors and outdoors. Because she loves the companionship and confidence she gains from other dogs, Amber would do best in a home with another friendly companion dog. Amber uses puppy pads, rides nicely in the car without getting sick, and takes treats very gently from your hand. She also enjoys curling up in your lap and being softly petted. Amber is still gaining confidence, so she will need a calm, patient home that understands she needs time to fully blossom after the years she spent in a puppy mill. She is also considered a flight risk, so a physically fenced yard is required for her safety. Invisible/electric fences will not be considered. In return, you’ll get to watch a sweet little soul learn what love truly feels like. If you are interested in giving Amber the second chance she deserves, please fill out an adoption application with Tiny Paws Small Dog Rescue. Amber is located in Rockford, IL with Kathy Mehalko.

Story
Sophie - 4 years old, small, maltese Momma Sophie is a sweet 4-year-old Maltese with a gentle heart and a love for the quiet life. This little lady is affectionate, loyal, and happiest when curled up beside her favorite person soaking in all the love and attention. Sophie is looking for a calm, peaceful home where she can truly relax and feel safe. Loud environments and lots of chaos aren’t really her style — she’d much rather enjoy cozy blankets, sunny windows, walks, and quiet evenings with her humans. She has a soft, loving personality and forms strong bonds with the people she trusts. Once she settles in, becomes the ultimate little companion, always nearby with her sweet eyes and calm presence. If you’re searching for a gentle best friend who will bring warmth, comfort, and unconditional love into your home, Sophie may just be your perfect match. Sophie has been spayed and is now current on her vaccines. She is being fostered in Woodstock, IL and has an adoption fee of $600. To meet this sweet gal, please fill out an application at Tinypawssmalldogrescue.org or contact Sara at 224-600-2547.

Story
Bentley and Princeton, two bonded 3-year-old Maltipom/Bichon brothers currently available for adoption through Tiny Paws Small Dog Rescue. As they are closely bonded, they must be adopted together. About Bentley and Princeton: - Sex: Neutered males - Weight: Bentley (9–10 lbs), Princeton (12 lbs) - Appearance: Bentley is black and white; Princeton is cream-colored. - Temperament: Both are friendly and get along well with other dogs. They are suitable for homes with children aged 8 and up. They both enjoy sleeping in bed, though Princeton may take a little longer to acclimate as he is skittish, but he has come a long way. - Activities: They love running after each other in the yard, and grooming each other. Playing with toys and chewing on their favorite treats like bully sticks, yak sticks, chicken feet, and turkey feet. Adoption Requirements: - Fenced Yard: A secure fence is required. Princeton initially attempted to jump a 5-foot fence, so a safe, enclosed space is necessary. These two cute brothers are currently being fostered in Mount Pleasant, WI. If you have any questions, feel free to email me at carol58degen@gmail.com Adoption fee is total for both
