Story
Meet Hope! Hope’s name says it all—she’s the definition of resilience and new beginnings. Likely a Mastiff/Cane Corso mix, she currently weighs about 60 pounds (and still filling out beautifully). When rescued, Hope was heartbreakingly underweight at just 56 pounds, likely abandoned by a breeder and left to survive on her own. But through it all, her gentle, loving spirit never wavered. Now healthy, happy, and about 3–4 years old, Hope is blossoming into the incredible dog she was always meant to be. She’s a perfect mix of cuddle companion and adventure buddy—content to curl up next to you for a movie night or join you on a walk or hike. She’s playful, affectionate, and has that soulful look that melts your heart. Hope walks beautifully on a leash, adores people, and just wants to be close to her humans. She’s ready for a home where she can continue to thrive, surrounded by love, comfort, and a family who sees how special she truly is. * Fully vetted * Sweet, affectionate, and fun-loving * Loves walks, hikes, and being by your side * Ready to give (and receive!) all the love If you think Hope might be your perfect match, please email adopt@valleydogs.org for more information.

Story
Barkley is a great dog. He's a protector, sweet and loyal. He's beautiful. We rescued him 4 years ago, after our previous dog passed away after 13 years. We love him and will keep until a good home is found but he's not a good fit for our family. He needs social attention. He has anxiety and separation issues. He will follow u every where. No aggression. Never bitten anyone. He is great around our kids but when they start playing or get excited he gets to excited with them. Jumping and bumping into them. He's kncoked them down and into objects. This is our main reason for wanting to rehome him. Not good with small children for that reason. He's good with small dogs, as we have another small dog but he is not good with other large dogs. We want to make sure he goes to a very good and loving home where he fits well.

Story
I rescued this sweet boy May 1st 2025 from a neglected home. At this time I had a large house with a backyard, unfortunately now I have moved out and have been traveling the country with him since early October and he has not handled life on the road very well. He needs proper kennel training and also a yard to run around in. He’s not the type for hotel rooms or small Airbnbs. He’s the best dog at dog parks, plays kindly with kids, and has never show any aggression to other animals. He is an extreme cuddle buddy and gentle giant, but it’s the time away where he struggles. He has broken out of every kennel I’ve purchased and can open nearly every door except round doorknobs. Ideal situation for him is something with a yard and even another dog to play with. I am planning on moving to Idaho once I get my condo listed for sale (will be listed on January 7th). It’s not fair for him to relocate to a smaller place where I am gone working for up to 8 hours at a time with no supervision.

Story
Meet Hazel — a big girl with an even bigger heart! Hazel recently joined our rescue from Holbrook Animal Care and Control. Since being in our care, she’s quickly won over volunteer’s hearts with her sweet and goofy personality. Hazel is fine tuning her leash manners but enjoys her daily walks with volunteers. She knows basic commands and would love to continue to learn. Hazel is super playful and loves toys. This girl is super sweet and loves affection. Hazel just wants a person to love and a home to relax in. Can you be the one to give it to her?

Story
Penny came to us from the euthanasia list at the county shelter. She weighed a severely overweight 110 lbs and suffered from chronic eye issues. She was going to be euthanized for her medical needs. She was a volunteer favorite at the shelter, and what was more than clear to all of us was that this precious girl had simply never been given the chance to live the life she deserved. Since coming into our care, Penny has lost over 45 lbs and is looking better than we could have ever imagined. She has transformed into the type of dog who would fill her perfect home with all the love in the world. She loooves to play, adores her toys, has learned impressive obedience commands [and impulse control!], and she really is something special. Given her size and strength, Penny would do best with a person or family who can keep up her obedience work at home so she can continue to be her very best self and get in all the walks and activity that she needs. And speaking of home, she would love to be your one and only fur baby, and she made me promise to tell you that a yard for her would be a dream come true. Penny's adoption fee includes her completed veterinary exams, bloodwork, vaccines, microchip and spay. With her in it, we can promise your home won't feel empty again, and she is sure to steal your heart 100 times over...guaranteed! To meet Penny, apply here https://lovethemallrescue.org/penny. She is sure to steal your heart 100 times over.
