Bubba is a very loving dog. We adopted him from our county pound and don’t know much about his history. We adopted him 4 months ago but realized he needs a family that can spend more time with him. It breaks our hearts to have to rehome him but he needs more attention than we can give.

Ginger is the most relaxed dog you’ll ever meet. Ginger is great with other dogs, children and is very affectionate. Ginger is not moved by treats, she enjoys tummy rubs the most. Ginger is house trained and easy going. Ginger only needs one walk a day, plenty of water and fed once a day. Ginger enjoys taking naps and sun bathing with a gentle breeze.

Story
I'm a strong and active boy who thinks I'm a lap dog. I get excited when it's time to go on walks, but then once we're walking, I'm calm. I do get excited when I meet kids, but after I will calm down and I leave them alone, unless they keep playing with me. Little kids might be afraid of me because of my size and run away from me and I think that they want to play, so just watch them. I would do best in a home with older children. My best day would be to: Going for a car ride to a park to go for a walk and then come home and nap. Other tidbits about me: I do fine being left out to roam the house when no one is home, because all I do is lay on the couch. I like being introduced to other dogs slowly and properly, otherwise I get over-excited. If, when I first meet new people and they have sunglasses on, I can get scared. As I am a pretty big boy, I can be strong when I get excited, so you need to be ready if you have the leash. I am not really interested in toys, but there are times when I do get the urge. I do slobber, so make sure to keep towels around.

He’s the stronger and more energetic of the two brothers — his sibling Kane is already in rescue with him — and this boy is full of life. Rambo can be strong on leash, so a prong collar and an experienced handler will help him shine. Once he gets his zoomies out, he settles right into a calm, low-key companion who loves attention and affection.   Rambo and Kane’s story is heartbreaking but full of hope. The two brothers were abandoned in California by their breeder or owner and ended up in a shelter, facing the euthanasia list. Both were suffering from mycoplasma pneumonia and were incredibly sick for over a month.
