Knows Basic Commands: Sit, but we’re working on it. Energy Level (Couch Potato, Moderate or High): Moderate Special Needs: None Physical Fence: Preferred / No Invisible Fences Nickname: Brock-Lobster Likes long walks, Sunbathing, Taste-Testing Arrival story: Brock was pulled from Detroit Animal Control Approximate age / Weight: 10-ish Years young, 95 LBS Hey guys - I’m so excited to meet you! I’m Brock! I’m about 10 years young, but my foster parents think I may be a bit younger. I love going for walks and am great on leash! I enjoy trotting around town checking out new spaces. I get bursts of energy throughout the day, so walks or playtime are needed so I can enjoy my best life. I’d probably enjoy adventuring, but I'm perfectly content to just lounge around. I love playing tug or chasing the ball outside or just relaxing and chewing on Benebones or other chews. Pigs ears and bully sticks are my absolute favorite. I’m also a bit of a foodie! I love trying new foods, but watch out! Sometimes I get over excited about treats and get a little too chompy, so watch your fingers. I love everyone I meet, but because of my size and energy around taking treats, I would do better in a home with teenagers or adults. I look forward to meeting you and hope I can become a special part of your family. Puppies (under 6 months) $250 + $50 refundable Spay/Neuter deposit + $50 refundable Training deposit. Story
Maverick~born~April 2023Lotte and Maverick are super sweet dogs who need a loving home to call their own! They would love to find a home together as they love to play together, but if that's not possible they can be separated. They were found walking through a neighborhood, Lotte injured with a cut above her eye and an infected bite wound on her neck. Lotte is 2-3 years old; Maverick about 6 months. We believe she is his mom, and they are both very lovable and sweet. Lotte loves squeaky toys and Maverick likes to chase her around when she has one and is squeaking it. Maverick is shy at first but has come a very long way in a short time. No shelters or rescues that were contacted would take them in, as all the shelters are full, so that is how they ended up with PAAW despite the fact that we are currently on intake hold._____The adoption fee includes age-appropriate vaccinations, heartworm test, spay/neuter and microchip! Please use these links for our:Online Adoption Application: paawarren.org/adopt/adoption-application-formWebsite for details, info: paawarren.org

Story
Meet adorable Lynda! She is a young girl looking for love and guidance to help her blossom into an amazing dog. Lynda can be very shy around new people and will take time to feel comfortable in new environments. Once she feels safe, she loves to play and roll around in the yard. She has a fun, goofy and loving personality that is shining through more each and every day. She is crate trained and is doing amazing with pottying outside when on a regular schedule. If Lynda sounds like a good fit for your family, fill out an application to meet this sweet girl at www.ccrcdogs.com! We do not have a facility for you to visit.  WE PROCESS APPLICANTS AND SET APPOINTMENTS BASED ON THE ORDER APPLICATIONS ARE RECEIVED , so while you are welcome to email  ccrcdogs@ccrcdogs.com with specific questions, you will want to complete the  ONLINE APPLICATION ASAP ,  which can be found at www.ccrcdogs.com, to secure your position in line for one of our dogs. You can also find  a description of our process on that same page. Puppies will not be available to be seen until their 10 day quarantine has passed. Our adoption fee is $220 for adults, $295 for puppies (under 6 months), and $150 for seniors (8 yrs and up) which covers the cost of the spay/neuter, age appropriate shots and tests, medications to bring the dog to full health, and a free visit with one of our approved vets after adoption. The majority of dogs at CCRC are obtained from animal control centers, so there is often very little known about their history or even current habits. You can always expect to do some training, regardless of whether you adopt a dog or a puppy, including crate training, house training, and basic manners. CCRC provides a variety of materials and resources to assist you with this, as well as telephone support.   September 30, 2023, 8:15 pm

Story
Charlotte is a very sweet who had puppies about 8 weeks ago. Owner claims she is a Presa Canario, but she is quite small for a Presa (about 87 lbs). Friendly and sweet personality and loves everyone. She is crate trained and listens well and is house broken. She gets along with most dogs. She came from a home with kids and did very well with them.
