Story
Hello there, I'm Sandy! I'm quite the character, full of energy and always ready for a game of fetch. I'm known around here for my funny antics, and I'm often the life of the party. My goofy personality keeps everyone laughing, and my sweet nature makes me a favorite among the staff. I'm always up for a good play session, but I'm also just as happy to snuggle up for some quality time. I've got a lot of love to give, and I can't wait to find my forever home. If you're looking for a fun-loving, playful, and affectionate companion, then I'm your girl!

Story
I am moving from my home of 14 years and cannot take Bear with us. Bear has been with my family since he was 6 weeks old and is the most loving dog. He has never been aggressive with anyone or anything. He is a very very smart dog! I have his paperwork, he is 6 years old, not fixed. He learned how to play fetch within 5 mins of playing, he can give his paw, he can even jump up and open our sliding door when he wants to come back in the house. Very smart! He is crate trained and likes the crate. He loves kids and has been around other dogs. He listens very well. When I can have him in the yard with me he will not take off and comes when called. He is such a loving dog and loves to take a bath in the tub. Smartest dog I've ever had. Only downfall is how hairy he is but if groomed properly it is manageable and beautiful. I am very sad to let him go considering he is the best dog I've ever owned. He deserves to find a loving home he will cuddle and love on you like a lap dog.

Story
HATTIE. I am as beautiful as a rose. I radiate beauty with elegance and grace, as beautiful on the inside as I am on the outside. I am 7 years young and looking for love. Trying to make up for what I missed the last 7 years. My friends say loving me is effortless. I didn't have an easy life prior to LaMancha, so it's a blessing I was rescued. I was a breeding machine, making tons of money for my so-called family. After my services weren't needed anymore, I was left to fend for myself. Luck was on my side when I was found and rescued. I love my friends here at LaMancha so much. They have been so loving and caring, but they know that my end goal is to finally live in a home where my family really cares for me. I dream for a loving family who really adores and cares for me this time, and of course a comfy bed and some good food too. I am a delightful, pleasant, fun, and sweet girl. I pinky promise you with my paw that we will have many years of endless love, laughter, and fun to be had. I have been around other dogs, but I really think my best home is where I can be your one and only best friend. My heart is exploding with love, and I need to share it with someone that needs to be loved too. I love to snuggle, give paw, play with my toys, run around, and explore all the smells outside, and just feel free, waiting for my new beginning. I am a fun all-around sweet girl, and I love to sit right by your side or on your lap! How about you come meet me? Please email Adoptions@LaManchaAnimalRescue.org. to meet me. *************************** Seven years old. Spayed, UTD vaccinations, chipped, wormed. Housetrained. Age:1 Weight: 118 Location: New Hope, PA Nicknames: Melly Good with other dogs?: Yes. Mel loves all friendly dogs and would benefit from a confident K9 companion. Good with cats? unknown, will not be adopted to a home with a cat Good with children? OK for kids over: 15 Activity Preference: Needs in-house activities, Up for a long hike any day., Low maintenance overall but needs quality outside time., Will go with the flow IQ: Smart Melody's favorite things: Mel loves snacks, taking walks with her people, learning what toys are, rolling in the grass ans sunshine. Melody is good at: meeting dogs, behaving in the house, walking on a leash Ideal home: another dog, quiet environment, someone at home most of the day, a fenced yard Training Needs: socialization with people Health issues: Healthy puppy on preventatives and Wellactin Meet Melody Mel was brought to a city shelter and was extremely fearful. She is doing much better and with the right home she will continue her confidence building. She is about a year old and house trained, great on a leash, loves other dogs and NEEDS a fenced in yard. We would prefer an adult only home as she is still afraid of loud noises and lots of commotion. A confident dog would be a big plus.   PLEASE READ: Adopters will not be considered without completing an application. Please visit www.AmericanBulldogRescue.org to apply!
