Hershey is about a year and a half old and has been in foster care a majority of the time. She was taken home by someone and severely mistreated before being returned, so she has trust issues. She’s not a fan right away to men, but once she gets to know you and gets comfortable she is a sweetheart. She has been staying with a family that has a young, special needs child and another dog for a few months. She is going to need someone who has plenty of time and patience to work with her. She is house broken, and crate trained for night and when the family is not home.

Hi, I’m Luke, and I’m a big, lovable boy tipping the scales at just over 100 lbs! Don’t let my size fool you—I’m a happy, easygoing pup who just wants to play, explore, and cuddle. I’m all about the good things in life: squeaky toys, water play, long walks, and best of all—snuggle time on the couch. I’m a pro at giving hugs (though I’m working on not jumping up too hard to give them—oops!). I get along great with other dogs and kids, but because of my size and enthusiasm, I’d do best with older children who won’t get accidentally knocked over during playtime. I’m crate trained, housebroken, and walk nicely on a leash—unless there’s a squirrel… then it’s game on! I do have a slight prey drive, so a little guidance goes a long way. If you’re looking for a big-hearted, playful companion to fill your home with love (and maybe take up some space on your couch), I’m your guy. This handsome boy is learning to trust humans and fast movements frighten him. He is shy at first, but warms quickly with gentle hands. Kingston is good with other dogs, but needs extra slow introductions. He does do well with cats. Kingston will do well in a home with no small kids, as he does get very frightened by fast movements.
