FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED! Say hello to Tiger! He is a loving and sweet ~3yo, ~90lb Mastiff/Shepherd mix who is ready to find his forever home. He came to us as a stray from a high kill shelter in CA. Tiger is a wonderful boy and has a great demeanor. He is super loving with everyone he meets and very gentle. He walks wonderful on leash and will make a great dog for his forever family! He has been good with other dogs in our care. We think he would do just fine with kids, but he is not tested with cats. Tiger is neutered, UTD on shots and microchipped. His adoption fee is $450.

Story
This big guy is eager to please and train, but he will need ongoing training and strong pack leader as his owner. Cole is young, responds well to correcting and playful with most other dogs. Cole was scared of the cats he met at the vets office and will probably do fine in a home with getting to know kitties slowly. This dog currently resides in Bandera, Tx. , We transport dogs to Washington State usually 2-3 times a month. Please understand that there is additional vetting, health certificates and costs involved with transporting a dog from Texas to Washington and our adoption fee includes all costs involved. *All of our dogs have tested Heart-worm negative and are on a monthly heart worm prevention protocol

Story
Animal Profile: Spunky is an estimated 9-month-old, altered male Mastiff mix. Our rescue partner observed that he is good with other dogs, "well socialized, calm in nature, and super sweet." Foster Update: Spunky is a honey! He LOVES attention and will just melt in your hands if you give him pets. He's crate trained, house trained and pretty quiet in the house. Spunky has come a long way since his arrival in November, and his confidence has definitely grown. Despite the fact that he’s not so small himself, he is a little shy meeting big dogs but opens up quickly after he has a chance to get to know them. He has learned to watch his paws around his tiny, 4-lb Chihuahua foster sister but would desperately love to play with her; so sweet!. Spunky will play contentedly for hours with ALL the toys. He is doing well with training and is a quick learner, and has gotten the hang of "wait", "sit", and other fun commands. And he is very treat motivated and eager to please. Spunky has made excellent progress on his leash manners, but will need an adopter that will continue working on his training through his teenage phase.. He really enjoys the walks but mostly just loves spending time with his human having fun. He's a sweet, medium energy puppy that can get really excited when playing but he also has an off switch. We are looking for a home with large breed  experience and a securely fenced yard. We are not considering apartments at this time.  Adoption Info: The adoption fee is $550 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations, flea/tick prevention, deworming, microchip and registration, and vet exam.  Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 organization. Animal History: This dog was rescued from Freer Animal Shelter through our partner.  They arrive in Seattle on Nov. 10, 2023.February 27, 2024, 1:11 pm

Story
Hello, The time has come to say goodbye to my beloved friend. Moppet was adopted via Seattle humane 2 years ago after spending nearly 7 years in various shelters. We’ve been through a lot and all medical, dental and related issues have been addressed. Unfortunately, I’m not able to keep him anymore due to financial and issues with my property management. With training he will be fine with dogs and he’s reactive with small kids, but with patience and care he can be trained. Moppet has some dietary issues and is on medication, but nothing excessive. At adoption, I’ll provide everything you need. His new home must be zero drama, stable in routine, absolutely no smokers, or vaping and no aggression. Thank you for taking the time to consider adopting my baby boy. Ben

Story
The lovable giant with a heart as big as his paws! At just 2 years old, Sultan has already mastered the art of cuddling and playing, making him the perfect companion for kids and dogs alike. His gentle nature shines through in every interaction, ensuring that playtime is always a joyous experience. Sultan is not just a giant in size; he's a giant in manners too. House trained and crate trained, he effortlessly navigates the ins and outs of home life. While he may be a bit forgetful around small animals (after all, he's got a lot of love to give and sometimes forgets just how big he is.), Sultan is an expert in following commands. He's a little chatterbox, always expressing himself with vocal enthusiasm. With Sultan around, you can count on him to respond to all the essential commands-sit, stay, leave it, and gentle. His eagerness to please and friendly demeanor make him a delightful addition to any family. Just be sure to keep an eye on your belongings because Sultan, like any two-year-old, loves to chew his way through life's little adventures!

Story
Meet Titus- a beautiful big boy in search of his forever home! Titus is a 110lb, 1-2 year-old Neapolitan Mastiff, possibly mixed with Cane Corso. (Titus is currently underweight and working on getting up to his ideal weight of ~120lbs) Titus is a gentle giant with a heart as big as his impressive stature. This majestic boy requires a special owner who understands the unique needs of Mastiff breeds and is committed to providing him with continued socialization and a loving and secure environment. Titus will thrive in a home with experienced dog owners who are familiar with large breeds and can provide the structure and guidance he needs.  Due to his size and strength, an owner who can confidently handle and manage Titus is essential. He responds well to positive reinforcement and is eager to please, making training sessions a rewarding experience. A securely fenced yard and/or daily walks would be ideal for a Titus, as he loves to explore the outdoors. Due to his size and breeds, we are looking for a single story home or a home where he won’t need to do lots of stairs daily. Titus is very gentle and calm and loves to spend his days napping right next to his people, though he is still young so he has short bouts of playful energy.  Titus would do well with an other doggy sibling (he especially likes the ladies) or make him your one and only best friend. If he's to have a new friend in his new home, proper introductions and a gradual acclimation period are key to fostering a positive relationship. Titus will be neutered soon, is UTD on shots and microchipped. His adoption fee is $600.

Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Meet Orion! He is 6-year-old Bullmastiff/Boerboel mix who weighs 118 lbs. He came to us from an overcrowded shelter in CA and is looking for his forever home! His perfect home would have a chill, steady, and peaceful environment. Orion walks well on a leash but can be strong and will need a family with good dog-handling skills. He is crate trained and finds comfort in a regular routine. Breed experience is required for his adopter. This big guy is looking for a quieter forever home outside of city-life. He will need a single-family detached home in a suburban or rural neighborhood. He would LOVE a large, securely fenced yard as well to roam and be with his people. In the summertime he would enjoy laying around in the sun! He can be dog selective and has shown to be friendly with submissive females but would do best as an only dog soaking up all the attention! Orion will be neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. His fee is $500.
