Story
Dozer is a neutered male, black/white Mastiff Hi! I'm Dozer! I am deaf! I really don't know how to play. It’s kind of sad. I have a little routine here - I just go in my pen, eat a few bites, drink then run back out for a treat. I like being near my people & will follow you around. I am not interested in playing ball. I really just don't know what to do with myself other than just enjoy life. I am so sweet, according to my foster. So if you don't mind a good-sized velcro dog, I'm your guy! ##2498995##

Story
Hi! My name is Banana and I am available for adoption.I was brought in by a good Samaritan on April 09, 2026.I weigh 108lbs and am considered a `large breed` dog.I am an affectionate lovebug who would be thrilled to play with you at home!I am full of energy and I love to play! I tend to calm down more when the people around me stay calm. I do best when I have lots of exercise and something to keep my mind busy.I would do best in a home with older children.I am a spirited dog with a fun-loving personality! I am still working on my manners, so I would do best with a family who is willing to work with me and help me become the best dog I can be!

Story
***NOTE: This pet is currently at the shelter in Republic, WA, and can be delivered to an approved adopter on our 5/2/26 adopted pet transport to Monroe, WA to begin a 30-day trial placement – part of our distance adoption program.*** Considering adopting? The first step is to complete our online Adoption Application at http://forgetmenotshelter.org/application Please do not call the shelter; do the application first. Meet Boudica, a spirited and affectionate young female (born 8/23/25) with a heart full of joy and a motor that just won't stop! This adorable Bernese/Mastiff mix (possibly with a little Rhodesian Ridgeback in the stew) absolutely lives for playtime, specifically the high-octane thrill of chasing after a ball, making her the perfect partner for an active owner who loves engaging with their pup. When she is not busy on the field, Boudica is a certified cuddlebug who adores receiving behind-the-ear scratches, leaning into you for affection. To keep her busy during downtime, she loves gnawing on nice cow bones, which she treats as her ultimate treasure. While she is full of confidence during playtime, Boudica can be a little skittish when encountering new or loud noises, a typical trait for a previously socially isolated pup still learning about the world. However, she has shown incredible resilience and has acclimated wonderfully since arriving at the shelter, proving she is quick to learn and eager to feel secure. She has a very high puppy energy level and would thrive in a home that can keep up with her playfulness. Regarding her feline friends, she is exceptionally interested in kitties and is not cat-aggressive; because of her intense puppy curiosity and energy, she will require a home that can facilitate slow, structured introductions to cats to ensure everyone gets along. She does well with other dogs, but not with small humans. Boudica currently weighs about 50# and is housetrained. She is currently learning about leash walking and will need continued training in that area post-adoption. If you are looking for a loyal, energetic, and loving companion to join your adventures, Boudica is ready for you. All pets arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fee for Boudica is a suggested minimum of $150 (more gratefully accepted). All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts. Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to the Seattle area, delivering adopted pets to their new owners. If you can add a little to your donation to help us cover our volunteer driver's expenses, that would be great!

Story
Welcome Barron to CCPAL Rescue. Barron is a 4.5 month old Mastiff/Great Pyrenees. Barron is extremely affectionate and stunningly beautiful. This whole litter is soft, cuddly and affectionate. Barron would be great with a family with children. This dog has guardian breed, and would be a great family dog. He would be wonderful for a family with a dad that travels and wants to see his family has a dog that will watch out for them. Yeti went to a family with younger children and he is doing great. This is Barron’s brother. We prefer children to be 8 or older. He should be 60 pounds full grown. He likes water, decent on a leash and area trained. He will go on a potty pad. He is good with other dogs bigger than himself. His dad is a Dogo and mom is a Great Pyrenees. He energetic but can calm down and be extremely cuddly and affectionate. He has a soft coat and not a huge shedding dog. He has longer hair a little more like the GP momma. This breed is a guardian breed family even though she shows no signs of guarding anything at the moment. He is getting his vaccinations and will be ready for his forever home soon. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont and all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is $600 and transport is $200. This is a very desirable breed. Please be patient when you put in your application. We are being very careful in vetting people and we are a small group of volunteers. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpalrescue.org See his cute video!!
