This gentle giant was taken in as a stray at just 7 months old and has spent the last several years living peacefully in a home with 15 other dogs of all ages and sizes. He’s truly a pack-friendly boy who gets along with everyone. Unfortunately, his owner had to downsize her dog family, so Wendell came to us. From the moment we met him, it was clear—this boy is pure love! 🥰 He’s chill, affectionate, housebroken, and oh-so-sweet. Wendell absolutely aced his temperament test and showed us just how easygoing and wonderful he is. If you’re looking for a loyal, laid-back companion who will fit right in with your family, Wendell is your guy! FOREVER HOME NEEDED (currently in foster care) Meet Elmer – Our Gentle Giant 🐾 Elmer is a 1.5-year-old, 120 LB true gentle giant with a big heart to match his size. He’s incredibly people-focused and has had many friendly interactions with infants, children, and adults. While he’s very affectionate and eager to please, he’s still learning his place in the world, so he’ll need some supervision around young children and certain adults as he continues to build confidence and understanding. Elmer lives peacefully alongside cats, chickens, and female dogs. He can, however, react if surprised by or challenged by another male dog in his territory. Out on walks, he’s wonderful on leash—steady, calm, and unbothered by barking or reactive dogs. He’s protective of his space but expresses it more through confident posturing rather than barking or growling. Around the home, Elmer is a great sleeper (though he’s known to snore!), and he already knows several commands, including sit, stay, and lay down. He’s even been trained to politely leave the room during mealtime and return when it’s finished—what a gentleman! Elmer enjoys fetch and is working on his off-leash retrieval skills. Above all, he’s a loyal, loving companion who just wants to be close to his people. Elmer would flourish best in a single-dog home without young children, where he can soak up attention and continue growing into his confident, well-rounded self. Elmer is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $500.

FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED! Say hello to Tiger! He is a loving and sweet ~3yo, ~90lb Mastiff/Shepherd mix who is ready to find his forever home. He came to us as a stray from a high kill shelter in CA. Tiger is a wonderful boy and has a great demeanor. He is super loving with everyone he meets and very gentle. He walks wonderful on leash and will make a great dog for his forever family! He has been good with other dogs in our care. We think he would do just fine with kids, but he is not tested with cats. Tiger is neutered, UTD on shots and microchipped. His adoption fee is $450.
