Story
The Seattle Animal Shelter is committed to reducing length of stay for all of our shelter pets! Some pets qualify for FREE or reduced adoption fees, please inquire with our Animal Care team to learn more. Albi is truly the Comeback Kid. Once the smallest of the litter, he was determined to bulk up and understood the assignment. Now one of the big pups, he spends his time playing touch football with his siblings, lifting weights at the gym, and taking daily fitness progress selfies to post to social media. While it is his goal to one day become a fitness influencer, this buff guy has a down to earth side. He loves cuddles, likes exploring new spaces, enjoys all kinds of toys, and loves to nap. His favorite movie is 101 Dalmatians (classic!) and likes acoustic covers of rock songs. Albi will be great for a family who will give him plenty of play time and activities to keep his social media content fresh and relevant. Pets are complex beings and prior to adoption, interested adopters will be counseled by a staff member to discuss the specific needs for each animal. This will include reviewing all known medical and behavior information. ** Please note that some animals will receive numerous inquiries, sometimes more than we can process. We appreciate your understanding and patience. ** HOW TO ADOPT: Check the animal's location. The Seattle Animal Shelter is committed to reducing length of stay for all of our shelter pets! Some pets qualify for FREE or reduced adoption fees, please inquire with our Animal Care team to learn more. Valerie is a sweet pea in dog form. She loves playing with squeaky toys, getting cuddles from her foster family, or napping in a pile of her sleeping siblings. She enjoys watching episodes of Bluey and Pixar movies. When asked what she wanted to be when she grows up she said a sous chef because head chef would be too stressful. Valerie (Val for short) would be great in a house with a loving owner who will keep her engaged and active. Story
The Seattle Animal Shelter is committed to reducing length of stay for all of our shelter pets! Some pets qualify for FREE or reduced adoption fees, please inquire with our Animal Care team to learn more. Grandpa is an old dog soul in an insanely cute puppy form. While he is not a fan of loud rock'n'roll music or fancy high-tech computers, he does love snuggling on the couch with his foster family and watching a good documentary. He prefers hanging out on the dog bed rather than getting rowdy with his siblings, but is often seen being the big spoon to them when it's naptime. Grandpa would do best in a family that will appreciate his grandpa tendencies and help remind him that he is, in fact, still a puppy. Pets are complex beings and prior to adoption, interested adopters will be counseled by a staff member to discuss the specific needs for each animal. This will include reviewing all known medical and behavior information. ** Please note that some animals will receive numerous inquiries, sometimes more than we can process. Story
HISTORY: Hi my name is Braxton! They think I was born in early December 2022 and I had a DNA test done and I am 30% Saint Bernard & 30% Doberman, along with a bunch of other dog breed mixes. They think I might be on the bigger side. I am ready to be adopted and go to my forever home with you! A fenced yard and house setting will be a must because I love to play. I am great with kids and other dogs. A dog with similar high energy or a slightly older dog to show me the ropes would be ideal. I tend to scare the cats I've been around so far, I'm just an excited boy! I am house trained. I am also crate trained, but I am not a fan. All I want is someone to love. Playful and cuddly that's me! ADOPTION INFO Dog adoption fees include: - All Basic Dog Vaccinations - Rabies - Bordetella - Flea & Tick Treatment - Spay (Up to $400) - Neuter (Up to 300) - Microchip & Registration All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs and cats in our rescue.
