FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED! Say hello to Tiger! He is a loving and sweet ~3yo, ~90lb Mastiff/Shepherd mix who is ready to find his forever home. He came to us as a stray from a high kill shelter in CA. Tiger is a wonderful boy and has a great demeanor. He is super loving with everyone he meets and very gentle. He walks wonderful on leash and will make a great dog for his forever family! He has been good with other dogs in our care. We think he would do just fine with kids, but he is not tested with cats. Tiger is neutered, UTD on shots and microchipped. His adoption fee is $450.

Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Introducing Max! He is a 3-year-old, 84lb French Mastiff mix who came to us from an overcrowded shelter in CA. Max is one big sweetheart! He walks well on a leash, gets along great with other dogs, and is friendly with everyone he meets. He does well being groomed and loves any attention he can get from his people. He will require an adopter that is able to handle his strength as he does like to pull occasionally when he sees something of interest, and he is very strong when doing so. He is a gentle giant but is strong, so due to his strength, we are looking for an adult only household or a household with children over 10 years. Max has a great smile, charming brown eyes, and so much love to give! He is going to be a loyal companion to whoever adopts him. Max is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $450.

Rio is a big lover of a dog! He is great with kids but is a large dog with a ton of energy so he might knock little kids over. He knows basic commands but will still need further training. He is super smart, kennel trained and walks on a leash. His current owner says he's really the best dog. Rio loves cats, and female dogs but is selective about his male dog friends. This will most likely change when he's neutered. He's potty trained, friendly and quiet. He can be protective but is in no way aggressive. Rio loves car rides, long walks and his favorite treat are carrots! If you would like to meet him send us a message! *Rio will be neutered and vaccinated before adoption. Fill out an adoption application at www.whidbeycritters.com!

Story
The Seattle Animal Shelter is committed to reducing length of stay for all of our shelter pets! Some pets qualify for FREE or reduced adoption fees, please inquire with our Animal Care team to learn more. Albi is truly the Comeback Kid. Once the smallest of the litter, he was determined to bulk up and understood the assignment. Now one of the big pups, he spends his time playing touch football with his siblings, lifting weights at the gym, and taking daily fitness progress selfies to post to social media. While it is his goal to one day become a fitness influencer, this buff guy has a down to earth side. He loves cuddles, likes exploring new spaces, enjoys all kinds of toys, and loves to nap. His favorite movie is 101 Dalmatians (classic!) and likes acoustic covers of rock songs. Albi will be great for a family who will give him plenty of play time and activities to keep his social media content fresh and relevant. Some pets qualify for FREE or reduced adoption fees, please inquire with our Animal Care team to learn more. Valerie is a sweet pea in dog form. She loves playing with squeaky toys, getting cuddles from her foster family, or napping in a pile of her sleeping siblings. She enjoys watching episodes of Bluey and Pixar movies. When asked what she wanted to be when she grows up she said a sous chef because head chef would be too stressful. Story
The Seattle Animal Shelter is committed to reducing length of stay for all of our shelter pets! Some pets qualify for FREE or reduced adoption fees, please inquire with our Animal Care team to learn more. Grandpa is an old dog soul in an insanely cute puppy form. While he is not a fan of loud rock'n'roll music or fancy high-tech computers, he does love snuggling on the couch with his foster family and watching a good documentary. He prefers hanging out on the dog bed rather than getting rowdy with his siblings, but is often seen being the big spoon to them when it's naptime. Grandpa would do best in a family that will appreciate his grandpa tendencies and help remind him that he is, in fact, still a puppy. Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Meet Orion! He is 6-year-old Bullmastiff/Boerboel mix who weighs 118 lbs. He came to us from an overcrowded shelter in CA and is looking for his forever home! His perfect home would have a chill, steady, and peaceful environment. Orion walks well on a leash but can be strong and will need a family with good dog-handling skills. He is crate trained and finds comfort in a regular routine. Breed experience is required for his adopter. This big guy is looking for a quieter forever home outside of city-life. He will need a single-family detached home in a suburban or rural neighborhood. He would LOVE a large, securely fenced yard as well to roam and be with his people. In the summertime he would enjoy laying around in the sun! He can be dog selective and has shown to be friendly with submissive females but would do best as an only dog soaking up all the attention! Orion will be neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. His fee is $500.
