He’s active, playful, an ideal size and a great companion. He wants to be with you all the time if he can, and is equally happy  to go out walking and to curl up with you on the sofa.  He is OK in a crate though would much rather be with his peeps.  He does well with other dogs and cats and older children but he might be best in a home without young children.   He is housebroken and walks well on a leash, only pulling when there is something really interesting he just has to go investigate.  Bean would make an amazing companion for any loving family - maybe yours?Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.    Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.       Foster Program:    Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.  For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/foster/ or email our Foster Coordinator at foster@k-9lifesavers.orgSPONSOR ME! Help Save Lives!  Make a  tax-deductible donation  today by visiting us at http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/donate/   Donations help us offset boarding costs and additional medical treatment for those dogs who need it.  K-9 Lifesavers receives NO federal funding and survive with your generous support! Story
They dont come any cuter than this little Min Pin mix puppy is called Jasper and he's looking for a great family to love.  Jasper is 3 months old and weighs 9 lbs. and destined to be a smaller guy that might hit 25 lbs as an adult.  This darling pup is one of the most lovable puppies you’ll ever meet! Jasper loves to cuddle and then sleep. He will cry a little at first in the crate because he prefers to be right by your side, but then does well after a few minutes.  He gets along well with other dogs and is not food aggressive when eating around other dogs. This little guy is going to be a pup who loves to ride and travel anywhere you want to take him.  He is very well behaved in the car and very well mannered with everyone he meets. Everyone loves him. As a normal puppy should be, he likes to play with hard chew toys and  loves to run and play outside. We are currently working on house training as can be expected for such a young one.  Jasper will make the perfect companion because he is smart, listens well and is a small package of love. He's ready now for adoption and run to your computer and send Critter Cavalry Rescue an email at ccrnewengland@gmail.com  today!  PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comApril 30, 2024, 11:47 pm

Story
Female, 13 years old, 10 lbs Good with: Dogs Not tested with: Cats, Kids House trained: Mostly Energy level: Moderate (she’s playful and spry for her age!) Noise level: Medium Hey there, I'm Daisy – your new four-legged best friend! Despite my age, I'm still as playful and spry as a pup. I absolutely love going for walks, and guess what? I can keep up with the younger dogs with no problem. So, if you're an active soul, I'm your perfect match! Now, let's talk about my other love – food! I'm a bit of a foodie, and I'll make sure you never forget when it's time to chow down. I'm what they call a Velcro dog – meaning, I like to stick close to my humans. I'd be over the moon if you're the kind of person who takes me everywhere or works from home. I thrive on companionship, and being by your side is my favorite place to be. I generally come when called and I do great on a leash, but I could use some additional training when it comes to learning how to sit/stay. Now, I've got to be honest – I'm mostly potty trained, but every now and then, there might be a little accident. I hope you can forgive me for that. We all have our moments, right? Here's a heads up – I'm not a fan of the car. So, if you're planning any road trips, I might not be the ideal travel buddy. But hey, we can always find other fun things to do together. In a nutshell, I'm Daisy, a lovable, food-loving, and energetic dog ready to bring joy to your home. If you're on the lookout for a loyal companion for walks and a buddy to keep you company at home, I'm your girl! I can’t wait to find my forever home where I can share all the love I’ve got to give! My foster guardian says: “ Daisy is very cute and sweet and at times funny and goofy (for example, a few times she has danced around my dog and rubbed herself up against her). She also likes to roll around and rub things like couch cushions. She also likes to scratch and burrow and roll around on towels, sheets, shirts, small rugs, etc that are on the floor.”   Likes: Burrowing, rawhide sticks, hanging with you! Dislikes: Cars; when my people leave! My ideal home: I’d love a home where I can be treated like a queen to live out my golden years. I'd do best in a home without children, or older children that can respect my space. Adoption Application : http://bit.ly/adoptrdr Foster Application :  https://rdr.formstack.com/forms/foster_app   My adoption fee includes: Spay/Neuter Surgery (unless I'm too to young!) Overall wellness exam Current on all core vaccines (including DHPP & rabies) Microchip Current on flea & tick and heartworm preventatives   Interested in adopting a rescue dog?
