Story
House trained: Mostly Energy level: Moderate (shes playful and spry for her age!) Noise level: Medium Hey there I'm Daisy your new four-legged best friend! Despite my age I'm still as playful and spry as a pup. I absolutely love going for walks and guess what? I can keep up with the younger dogs with no problem. So if you're an active soul I'm your perfect match! Now let's talk about my other love food! I'm a bit of a foodie and I'll make sure you never forget when it's time to chow down. I'm what they call a Velcro dog meaning I like to stick close to my humans. I'd be over the moon if you're the kind of person who takes me everywhere or works from home. I thrive on companionship and being by your side is my favorite place to be. As a result, I do have some separation anxiety when you leave - I just want to be with you always! I generally come when called and I do great on a leash but I could use some additional training when it comes to learning how to sit/stay. Now I've got to be honest I'm mostly potty trained but every now and then there might be a little accident. I hope you can forgive me for that. We all have our moments right? I do know how to hold my bladder overnight, and I've done well with frequent trips outside and pee pads in the home. Here's a heads up I'm not a fan of the car. So if you're planning any road trips I might not be the ideal travel buddy. But hey we can always find other fun things to do together. Similarly, I'm not a huge fan of my crate. Both cars and crates make me yip and shiver! I may need some additional training on this front. In a nutshell I'm Daisy, a lovable food-loving and energetic dog ready to bring joy to your home. If you're on the lookout for a loyal companion for walks and a buddy to keep you company at home I'm your girl! I cant wait to find my forever home where I can share all the love Ive got to give! My foster guardian says: Daisy is very cute and sweet and at times funny and goofy (for example a few times she has danced around my dog and rubbed herself up against her). She also likes to roll around and rub things like couch cushions. She also likes to scratch and burrow and roll around on towels sheets shirts small rugs etc that are on the floor. Likes: Burrowing rawhide sticks hanging with you! Dislikes: Cars; when my people leave! My ideal home: Id love a home where I can be treated like a queen to live out my golden years. I'd do best in a home without children or older children that can respect my space. Story
Hi, my name is Rambo! I am called that because I fear nothing!I am told I am about 2 years old. Personally, I think I might be younger than that.I am full grown and I weigh about 32lbs, the humans think I am a miniature pincher mix. What ever that means, the humans are saying someone named 'DNA' will tell us more when he arrives. So, I am waiting on him.I am full of energy and I love to hug and cuddle with the humans here in my foster home. I get along great with all their other dogs... and there's lots of other doggies here!Except, I don't like their beagle too much. She's grumpy and growls at me, but I tolerate her. Before I got here to my foster home, I was at a different foster house and they had lots of kitties. I liked the kitties just fine, even though they didn't like me too much. One them slapped me just because I sniffed him!For my forever home, I would love a human that likes to run. I love to run, too!! I also love to take long hikes in the woods.Swimming is ok... I wouldn't necessarily go looking for water to swim in, but I know how if I have to.I know how to rest when it's time, too. You don't have to entertain me all day, every day. But if I get some good exercise and cuddles in early in the day, I'm pretty happy till dinner time. Oh.. and did I mention I LOVE to eat?? And I take treats very gently. I would never want to hurt your fingers. And if you have a fenced in back yard, I promise I will keep the squirrels out!!And I am fully house trained. I will ask to go outside if I have to potty. My biggest wish is to find a home just like this. If you think I would make a good fit with you, your home and family, I would love to meet you!!**Please fill out the application on Fancy Cat's Website and we will schedule a meet-and-greet with Rambo. Story
Meet Charlie! Charlie is about 2 years old and a little guy at only 26 lbs. Our best guess for Charlie's breed mix is Min Pin/Fiest Mix. Charlie is a happy boy who has a good mix of play time and snooze time. Once he has gotten his energy out, he is happy to chill with you on the couch or snuggle in for a nap. Charlie is good with other dogs but can be overly excited around cats. Although Charlie is not in a foster home with children, we feel he would do well with children 5 years and up. He is housetrained and SUPER friendly! Charlie would do best in a home where someone is around a good portion of the day. Charlie is neutered, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative and microchipped. ***You must be at least 25 years of age to adopt from Canine and Kitties Rescue*** The adoption fee for this dog is $375.00, which helps with the cost of routine vet care. ***Please note that our first step in approving adoption applicants is to complete a vet check. Vetting of current and past pets is very important to us, thus we will be speaking with the vet(s) listed on your application to ensure that your current and previous pet(s) are kept up to date on vaccines (including rabies), spayed or neutered, maintained on appropriate monthly preventatives and examined annually by your vet.*** Our organization cannot guarantee the exact breed of any animal in our care. The breed listed is based on any background we may have been provided, and/or the general appearance of the animal. **Please visit www.caninesandkittiesrescue.org to complete our non-binding application.**
