Despite this setback, Rocky is hoping to find a loving forever home where he can live out his golden years. Even though he is more mature, Rocky still has energy and loves his daily walks. Having been in a home since he was a puppy, Rocky is housetrained, rides well in a car and especially loves cuddling up in the nearest lap. He gets along well with children and has also been around babies. When it comes to other dogs, Rocky is not a fan and needs to be your one and only. So if you are looking for a loving and loyal companion, why not fill out an application today and meet this handsome hunk in person!Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
