Dog's Name: Bean (BEA0124OWSMN)Estimated Breed: Chihuahua MIX Approximate Age: 6-7 yearsApproximate Weight: 15 lbsCurrently Living at: FosterAdoption Fee: $400DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Bean is the sweetest little guy, hoping to find a caring forever home where he can give you years of love and affection. He’s active, playful, an ideal size and a great companion. He wants to be with you all the time if he can, and is equally happy to go out walking and to curl up with you on the sofa. He is OK in a crate though would much rather be with his peeps. He does well with other dogs and cats and older children but he might be best in a home without young children. He is housebroken and walks well on a leash, only pulling when there is something really interesting he just has to go investigate. Bean would make an amazing companion for any loving family - maybe yours?Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet. Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
