Valentina (brindle female), Valentino (brindle male), Kisses (black with a white patch, female), Cupid (brindle and white male), and Locket (brindle and white female) are an adorable litter of 6-week-old puppies ready to be pre-adopted. These sweet babies were born in our care after their mom and dad were surrendered to us. They’ve been raised in a safe, loving environment and are already getting a great start in life. Mom appears to be a Yorkie/Papillon mix, and dad may be a Havanese/Schnauzer mix (photo included for reference), so we expect them to stay on the small side. They will be ready to go to their forever homes at 8 weeks old. If you’re looking to add a little love to your life, one of these puppies might be the perfect match. Apply now to pre-adopt! She loves other dogs and people of all ages. She is still working on her potty training but making good progress in her foster home and just needs her forever family to continue the training! She's around 7lb and will be a very small dog when fully grown (10lbs-ish). All of our pets are located in Houston TX and will not be transported until adopted. Meet Rocco! This special complicated little guy is about 4 years old, less than 15lbs and some type of floofy terrier/poodle type mix we are guessing. He may bark and put on a tough act when meeting new people, but is lovable and happy once he bonds and loves walks and car rides with his favorite staff. He prefers to dine alone and is looking for a calm adult home with people who will give him his space and let him come over for attention on his terms. He was never socialized with other dogs either and will loudly try to scare them away first before they can scare him. Medically, he's also a complicated little dude. His owners never brought him to a vet, even when he had a severe back injury and was temporarily paralyzed. Luckily with rest he was able to mostly recover on his own from a suspected disc injury, but is still a bit ataxic and wobbly in his hind legs. He does best walking on grass and softer surfaces with traction, and shouldn't be allowed to jump on and off furniture or do stairs as there is more of a change of re-injuring his back. He's had some GI issues on and off as well and was diagnosed with IBD after an endoscopy and GI biopsies: he's doing much better on a strict prescription diet and medications now and is well-managed We know this guy isn't an easy sell... he's not perfect, but the bond that comes with taking the time to get to know and love quirky little dogs like him is extra meaningful. Meet Millie! Same old story different dogs… people buy a cute fluffy non-shedding puppy, never get them groomed or socialized, and surrender them to the pound when they are a matted inconvenience 🤷‍♀️ 🤦‍♀️ Millie is under a year old and a nervous girl but opens up into a happy playful puppy once she feels safe. She seems to be some kind of schnoodle or maybe havapoo? (Well, we groom everything to look like a schnauzer, but that definitely looks like a schnauzer nose to us!) About 16lbs full grown and is now spayed and updated on shots. Shaving her was a dramatic occurrence and she will need sleepy time meds and getting her more used to being brushed and handled now that she’s more comfortable and not clumped in mats head to toe. She’s ok with other dogs but also gets nervous with them in her space too much and prefers to dine alone… a bit socially awkward and still learning how to play and be a normal puppy. Millie is looking for an adult home that will continue to socialize her in a positive way to new people, places, and things and be committed to her for life, for better or worse.
