Story
This girl was found as a stray and her owners refused to come pick her up so she is in search of another home. She is a sweet lady, a bit shy, but friendly. She is out of any puppy energy phase but does still like to play and she does get the zoomies. She was house-trained so would need to relearn it. She does well in a car and is okay on a leash. She does not get along with smaller dogs and probably not a fan of cats. She will need time to warm up to a person but is just a sweetheart when she knows you! She would be wonderful as a walking companion and lounge buddy. She is in Tennessee but can be transported to you through Rescue Riders.

Story
Jackson is a great dog & a loved member of our family. He is a very friendly, happy dog & would do great in a house without children. Jackson is very smart & has easily mastered the following: House training, no accidents in the house. Kennel training, knows the command & follows it well. Leash training, loves to go for walks, walks well on a leash (Gets excited when he sees other dogs, will bark). He is not food or resource aggressive at all, we have an older dog at our house & they have never fought over or been aggressive about food or toys. He is great with other dogs & loves doggy daycare. As our son has gotten more mobile & adventurous as a 2 year old, Jackson is nervous around him. We don’t think it is fair to our son, or to Jackson to have to keep them separated. It has been very difficult for us to make the decision to re-home Jackson. There was an incident where our son sat on Jackson while sleeping which startled & scared Jackson. He will thrive in a home with no kids

Story
Hi there… I’m Pearl, and wow — what a journey I’ve had! Not too long ago, I was in a scary place with cold floors and loud noises… trying to keep my 9 little puppies safe. I didn’t know if we’d make it. But someone saw us and gave us a chance. Now, my puppies have all found their families. They’re off exploring the world, tails wagging — and I’m so proud of them. And me? Well, I’m finally getting my moment. I love soft beds, gentle hands, and just being near kind people. I’ve got so much love to give — now that I’m not surviving, I’m ready to start living. If you’ve got room in your heart (and maybe on your couch), I’d love to be your best friend. Let’s start a new chapter… together. 💖***FOSTER TO ADOPT***Pearl is heartworm positive and not yet spayed. She is currently going through heartworm treatment. Once her treatment is complete, it is the responsibility of the adoptive family to get a microfilaria test 30 days after treatment for a preliminary result. Then, a heartworm test 9 months after treatment for final results. It is recommended that she continues getting tested for heartworm annually. During these months, you will need to make sure her heart rate is not elevated due to high energy play or exercise until she receives a negative microfilaria test. Pearl will also need continued use of monthly heartworm preventives going forward. This will all be covered by Warrior Dog until her last injection. Any other medical needs will be the responsibility of the adopter. Once she receives a negative result on her heartworm test she will need to be spayed. The adoption can be finalized once treatment in complete and she is spayed. If you are interested in adopting Pearl, please fill out an adoption application. --------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.Adoption Fee - $400To apply for this pup, please submit an Adoption Application at http://warriordogrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application/
