She came from a neglect case in rural Kentucky, where she and other dogs were found abandoned and starving in an outdoor pen. Sadie is fortunate to be alive! Sadie is spunky when she is outside. Inside the house, she loves to curl up in a blanket on your bed or be cozy in a dog bed. Sadie loves bully sticks and will work them down as a beloved pastime. Sadie is well-behaved in the house, housebroken, and quiet. When she sees something out the window, she may alert vocally though! She is approximately 8.5 years old and weighs about 41 lbs. When outside, Sadie loves to zip around and explore. She does need a 6-foot fence as she can climb over a 4-foot fence. Sadie loves to go to the dog park and her favorite activity is to bark at other dogs in hopes that they will run so she can chase them.  Sadie is also a squirrel enthusiast so she will tree them and bark, both  in the yard and at the dog park, so sometimes she does need to be re-directed. Sadie loves to chase and bark at other dogs. She does not harm them, though she likes to dominate them like this to get them to play her game.   Sadie zips around like a racehorse at times and is agile and free. She goes from zero to 40 in about 3 seconds. Sadie is a joy to watch at the dog park, just keep walking (taking the lead) and that refocuses her energy! Sadie does have a little random incontinence (likely due to her age) and is on a medicine called Proin. She takes half a tab twice a day and it seems to help her greatly.  Sadie is a bit of an alpha, but can easily live with other dogs, and does mingle with all kinds of dogs at a dog park. Sadie is good with other dogs, older kids, but no cats for Sadie. This senior gal is very lovey-dovey, and loves to be pet, pampered, and smooched. Miles is an absolute doll! He is young of course and loves to play. he loves to play fetch. He is dog and people friendly.

Maryann showed up at a good Samaritan's house. The good Samaritan brought them to our facility, and we took them in. Well, how could we resist. They were so frightened and scared but are doing much better now. They are up to date on shots, spayed, microchipped and ready to be adopted. Who could resist those faces. They are adorable and they need a good loving home full of happiness, playfulness and lots of love. We don't know if they are siblings or not but that they came in together. The foster that has them now says they are coming out of their shell and are very playful and full of life. They love chasing each other and playing tag. They are very curious and so affectionate. They will be great for any family to have one of them for a family member. She is in TN but the cost of transport to your area is included in her fee. We use the most animal friendly transport on the road, Rescue Riders Pet Transport.

This baby Catahoula mix is a happy, bouncy, goofy ray of sunshine who spends most of her day playing with her puppy brother, showing off her puppy zoomies, and narrating her own adventures like she’s the star of her own reality show. She’s picking up all the important life skills by watching the big dogs around her, including the very serious chihuahua mix who communicates in side-eye. Shaylee now understands that not everyone wants to wrestle and she’s super respectful about it. She plays beautifully with dogs of all ages and sizes and greets every human like a long-lost friend. She hasn’t met tiny kids yet, but she adores her foster’s teen and loves being close to her people when she finally takes a break from puppy shenanigans. She’s getting better every day with potty training and leash walking, and she’s a champion eater who thinks treats are a lifestyle. Crate time is going well too—she voices her feelings at first, but then settles in for a nap like the sweet baby she is. This energetic, playful pup is truly the life of the party and will keep you smiling with his happy-go-lucky personality. Jingle would thrive in a home with another dog and an active family who loves adventures and playtime. He’s already potty trained and leash trained, making him an easy addition to your household. A fenced in yard would be great, but what’s most important is exercise. Whether rubbing around the yard, or going for a walk/run every day, he’s happy to get his energy out!  And did we mention his fur? It’s unbelievably soft—you’ll want to snuggle him all day!
