Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.   Sadie is a comical, quirky, and spunky girl. She came from a neglect case in rural Kentucky, where she and other dogs were found abandoned and starving in an outdoor pen. Sadie is fortunate to be alive! Sadie is spunky when she is outside. Inside the house, she loves to curl up in a blanket on your bed or be cozy in a dog bed. Sadie loves bully sticks and will work them down as a beloved pastime. Sadie is well-behaved in the house, housebroken, and quiet. When she sees something out the window, she may alert vocally though! She is approximately 8.5 years old and weighs about 41 lbs. When outside, Sadie loves to zip around and explore. She does need a 6-foot fence as she can climb over a 4-foot fence. Sadie loves to go to the dog park and her favorite activity is to bark at other dogs in hopes that they will run so she can chase them.  Sadie is also a squirrel enthusiast so she will tree them and bark, both  in the yard and at the dog park, so sometimes she does need to be re-directed. Sadie loves to chase and bark at other dogs. She does not harm them, though she likes to dominate them like this to get them to play her game.   Sadie zips around like a racehorse at times and is agile and free. She goes from zero to 40 in about 3 seconds. Sadie is a joy to watch at the dog park, just keep walking (taking the lead) and that refocuses her energy! Sadie does have a little random incontinence (likely due to her age) and is on a medicine called Proin. She takes half a tab twice a day and it seems to help her greatly.  Sadie is a bit of an alpha, but can easily live with other dogs, and does mingle with all kinds of dogs at a dog park. Sadie is good with other dogs, older kids, but no cats for Sadie. This senior gal is very lovey-dovey, and loves to be pet, pampered, and smooched. She has a soft, yet also spunky nature and exudes sweet southern charm. Sadie is definitely one of a kind! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.     Gorgeous Girl Gator (~2y., 50lb) has spent over a year in shelter and foster care down in Alabama, and she is so ready to finally experience the love of her very own forever family! Don’t let her name fool you—she may have outgrown her puppy teefs, but she’s still 100% sweetness, charm, and joy. Gator is an outgoing, friendly social butterfly who lights up when she meets new people. She adores making friends—human and canine alike—and her tail seems to have only two modes: wagging fast and wagging faster. She’s the kind of pup who greets life with enthusiasm and warmth, making everyone around her smile. She loves running around the yard, exploring all the good sniffs, and settling in for long naps on her fluffy dog bed. Gator is doing great with her potty, leash, and crate training, and she’s eager to keep learning. While she enjoys other dogs, Gator especially appreciates hanging out with similar to lower-energy who match her vibe. She’d be happy living with or without another canine companion. She’s also been good with the kids she’s met—though as an enthusiastic youngster, she may accidentally knock over very small kiddos during playtime. Gator isn't a fan of felines, so a house without cats would be ideal.  Being a clever young working-breed mix (Catahoula Leopard Dog, Great Pyrenees, Labrador), Gator is highly trainable and would shine with continued obedience work or even agility. She’s already a snuffle-puzzle champion in the making! Gator’s ideal home includes (but isn’t limited to): • Humans who love walks, outdoor adventures, or fun activities and want a cheerful copilot • A friend to pal around with (optional but appreciated!) • Someone patient and excited to train and learn with her • A big, cozy dog bed—this one is non-negotiable according to Gator • Plenty of toys, enrichment, and sniffer games • Space to run, play, and explore If you’re looking for a friendly, outgoing, affectionate girl who will brighten every day, Gator is ready to bring her huge heart and happy spirit home to you   If you would like to learn more about Gator, please submit an interest form on our website:  https://redemptionroadrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/ If you are viewing this listing on PETFINDER there is often MORE INFO ON and MORE PICS OF the animal DIRECTLY ON OUR WEBSITE. redemptionroad.mn@gmail.com Follow us on Facebook & Instagram! https://www.facebook.com/RedemptionRoadRescue/ @RedemptionRoadRescueMN *Adoption fee for Gator is $550 + MN state tax* All animals fully vetted appropriate for age: spayed/neutered, DHPP vaccine series, Lepto. vaccine series, rabies vaccine, heartworm test (negative),  microchipped with lifetime registration, dewormed, flea/tick prevention, heartworm prevention.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 4, 2026, 1:04 pm
