Moe is a sweet puppy born 12/8/23 , Moe is a spunky guy with a sensitive demeanor and a loving spirit. And his big honey eyes are full of gratitude and curiosity. Moe thrives on companionship and is known for his affectionate, cuddly nature. He enjoys spending time with both his canine foster siblings and human friends. Although quick movements can startle me. Moe loves to play with squeaky toys and bones, and his curiosity extends to exploring new people and environments. He has shown he’s adaptable. Moe was the runt of his litter, so he does like to have his meals away from wandering eyes and noses. Although he's smaller than his brother he definitely seems like the brains of the operation. He is up-to-date on all vaccinations, neutered, and receives regular flea and tick treatment. If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate companion, Moe could be the perfect fit for you!   Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. This girl was found as a stray and her owners refused to come pick her up so she is in search of another home. She is a sweet lady, a bit shy, but friendly. She is out of any puppy energy phase but does still like to play and she does get the zoomies. She was house-trained so would need to relearn it. She does well in a car and is okay on a leash. She does not get along with smaller dogs and probably not a fan of cats. She will need time to warm up to a person but is just a sweetheart when she knows you! She would be wonderful as a walking companion and lounge buddy. She is in Tennessee but can be transported to you through Rescue Riders.

Story
I’m Nutella and am from Alabama. My foster momma says I should dream big because I deserve my biggest dream. So here it goes. My wish is to find my forever home. A home that is going to love me unconditionally for all that I am. See I only have three legs. After I was hit by a car in 2023 the doctors did everything they could to save my leg however the best thing for me was to amputate in April 2023. I’ve had to adjust lots since then however I’m a Warrior! These amazing humans from Warrior Dog Rescue brought me to Minnesota where more amazing humans brought me into their home, have shown me so much love, and taken care of me while I continue to heal. They have taken me to a special dog therapy doctor. I have a special bed I lay on every day that is really helping me feel better. I also take some really good medication that helps me feel better too. Our goal is to one day not need all of them. We are working on my walking. I can walk about five minutes and then I need to be done but each week I can another 5 minutes and see how I do. I do get pretty sore but we are confident in time I’ll be able to walk longer. It’s hard to keep me down :) I’m in what the humans call my adolescence stage. Where I can be a little stubborn and sassy. I need a family that will understand my breed and need for at times to have some space and make me take “breaks” as my foster mom calls them. See sometimes I don’t know what’s best for me and I need to take a break. I dream of a home that will have a fenced in yard to keep me safe. As much as I like to play with the dogs I live with (4 of them), I might like being the only dog or one that doesn’t mind me stealing the bones and toys and doesn’t react. I really like the resident cat and we play often. My other dream would be to have a home where they continue to help me on my healing journey and a home without a lot of stairs. My foster mom says I’m the best snuggler and have the softest ears. She giggles when they bounce when I bark. I love snuggling in bed and enjoy the little massages I get. I do really well in my kennel when they leave for work or when they leave me out. I also like to chew on bones and balls. I also like when my foster momma puts out puzzles for me to play with, it keeps my mind busy and really enjoy the treats that are in them. I can’t wait to be able to run in the yard and chase after the ball like I used to. I also love to be outside and find the treasures I bring outside and chew on sticks. I really like being on the boat in the summer. Foster momma also says there are so many things to love about me it’s hard to put in words. Would you consider making my dream come true? --------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.Adoption Fee - $400To apply for this pup, please submit an Adoption Application at http://warriordogrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application/

Hello, everyone! My name is Acorn and I can’t wait to make you ‘crack’ a smile! I’m a sweet boywho has so much love to give to a family of my own. I made the trip here along with my momand seven siblings from Alabama. My soft, golden fur makes me a great cuddle partner for thecold weather to come! Before I forget, here are some things I want you to know about me:● I’m an affectionate boy● I love to be around people● Snuggling is my favoriteDon’t let this scare you but some of my siblings that I’ve been living with tested positive for ringworm. Just to be safe we are all getting treated with daily medication and weekly bathes since we’ve been exposed. We are awaiting two consecutive negative results two weeks apart to complete treatment per our veterinarians recommendations. I’m looking for my forever family before I get too old and even better to spend the holidays with! My friends at Warrior Dog will cover my medical costs regarding this while I finish up treatment and testing but they said I can still come live with you in the mean time. If you came to visit me in person, there’s a good chance that I could make your heart melt. I’dlove to show you that I can be a great companion. I hope that we can meet soon and get toknow each other!--------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. //   Find our applications at www.midwestanimalrescue.orgAdoption Fee $250 plus taxMeet Bonnaroo! This handsome fella needs a strong, gentle pack leader who will not allow him to be in charge.  Yes he is a big boy and can be a bit overwhelming to some but when he knows you are the boss because you guide him to do the right thing, he is all yes ma’am, yes sir.  He will need continued training and yes, we have a trainer already set up to work with him.  We just need a adopter who is willing to put in the time for socialization and training.  He will thrive in an environment that has boundaries and expectations for him to follow. He is true to his people and although needs a minute to be ok with strangers, once he is comfortable, he is all snuggles and happy wiggles. He is housebroken and crate trained and walks well on a leash.  Right now he prefers to be the only dog in the home.  He can be around other dogs, but is a bit awkward and wants to show them he is the boss.  Yes, the trainer will help with that.   Look at that face…. Won’t you help Bonnaroo be all he can be??   If you have filled out an application please just email adoptionatmars@gmail.com   If you are a previous foster please email fosteratmars@gmail.com   Let's get this big guy home!!  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.  or    *The pet you are viewing is a rescued pet which is most often from an animal control facility and does not come with a pedigree. The breed(s) listed are our best guess and are in no way guaranteed. Sometimes the pets appear to be a particular breed(s) in the pictures we receive from our rescue partners and when they arrive we are surprised to see an entirely different breed(s) in person!  If you choose to DNA test your adopted pet, test results may vary from company to company and our breed guess may not be reflected in those results as it is just that, our best guess. It is with deep longing that we wish there was a breed called 'cute' as we believe all of our dogs would fall under this new breed classification! Completion of an Adoption Application via our website www.midwestanimalrescue.org is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is the first step in our adoption process.  *Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption. When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.  Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks. Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance. //

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.     Sadie is the sweetest girl you will find! She is full of love, happiness, warmth and kisses! She wants to enjoy life with you and your family! Sadie would make an amazing family dog, or cool with a couple or solo person. She has a zest for life and would love all the fun, love, activity and companionship. She loves people and she loves to be outside in a yard, BUT she does need a 6 foot fence, as is capable of going over a 4 foot (or invisible fencing- well trained on it). She loves to go for walks (but dog park is her favorite) and she is a good snuggler! She is about 7 years old and about 41 lbs.  Sadie has a brightness to her you just can't deny! You have to meet her to understand. Sadie absolutely is a dog park dog and literally "flies like the wind" across the meadows. She looks like a low-flying bird (her nickname is "Birdie) or a gazelle and is so fun to watch. She is zippy, fast, agile, just bursts out with joy! You cannot help smiling and joining in her fun.  If you are interested in our sweet Sadie, please let us know!  She is great with dogs, (but is an alpha in some circumstances) people, kids, but no cats.  Interested in adopting? Please complete an interest form on our website here.
