Story
Meet Winnie- Oh my gosh what a sweet little girl! Winnie was pretty timid when she first came into rescue but she gets better each day. Winnie is great around people, young children and dogs. She loves playing and romping - toys- yes she loves all the toys! Chew sticks and bones are also favorite items. Winnie sleeps in her crate at night for at least 6-8 hours  and she is learning to spend more time in her crate each day.  She is doing great with potty training!  She is a smart baby girl-she is picking up on some commands already!  Winnie will enjoy training classes.  Winnie is getting better on her leash and comes to a dead stop when she sees another dog or person. She is in shock when people don’t stop to pet her!!!  I get it- she is adorable! Winnie is a sweet, fun and loving puppy who is ready to join your home! If you would like to meet Winnie, please visit spotslaststop.org and fill out an application.

Story
Making shamrock wishes that you will be my family! 🍀🐾Hi, my name is Nutella! I’m new here from Alabama. I am equally obsessed with my foster momma, dad, and siblings. I live with two resident dogs and a cat along with another foster puppy. I may only have 75% of the legs they do but still have 100% of the fun!! My momma says I have no problem playing with the big dogs. My Foster mom says I still have that adorable puppy energy, am good at going into my kennel, and I am sure to do all of my business outside.Don’t let my 3 legs worry you, I get around like my 4-legged friends and the humans say I’m all healed up! I had my amputation around the end of April. I haven’t mastered the long walk concept YET but I’m practicing. I like short walks with lots of breaks, but I know I’ll gain stamina as my surgery dates get further away. Momma also thinks it’s so cute, whenever I shake, my entire body shakes with me. I sometimes stumble without my 4th leg but I don’t let it get me down! I sleep in this big bed and LOVE to snuggle. When Mom and Dad are at work I go right in my kennel. I can sit and come when called. Mom says I have the sweetest smile of all time! Mom and Dad keep saying what a good girl I am and how proud of me they are. I would love a forever family of my own. I can't wait to meet you.--------------------------------------------I will be your Lucky Charm" - Black Dog Syndrome PromoBlack dog syndrome, also known as BDS, is a phenomenon in pet adoption in which black dogs are ignored in favor of light-colored ones. For the month of March, Warrior Dog Rescue is taking $200 off the adoption price of our black pups 4 months and older that have been in rescue for a while to help you find your Lucky Charm. This is reflected in the adoption fee shown below. *some exceptions may apply*All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.Adoption Fee - $275To apply for this pup, please submit an Adoption Application at http://warriordogrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application/

Story
WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Cameo - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Cameo, a beautiful name for a beautiful gal like me. I have the sweet natured attitude that will make me a great family addition. At 2 years old, I'm also at a great age where as I'm still playful but way past that destructive puppy stage. That sure makes for a nice combo for my new family. Oh and another nice thing...I'm already house trained too!! I have an amazing tiger striped pattern in my coat and show stopping amber colored eyes which make for a stunning combo!! My hairytage of the Mountain Cur and the Plott hound makes for the beautiful swirling stripe pattern of my coat, a genetic characteristic. My personality is sweet, sweet, sweet and I am very human oriented. I love giving and getting kisses and spending time with my people. Also, for a medium sized dog of 55ish lbs, I am a great snuggler!! I will wrap myself around my Foster Mum and delight in the attention!! I will stay there snuggling for as long as she has time! I walk well on leash and know how to sit and stay. I have great focus and pay attention really well. I am a people pleaser and will try to do whatever it takes to make you happy!! I get on well with most all other doggies and enjoy romping in the yard getting a good game of keep away or tag you're it going but I LOVE hoomans and haven't met a stranger yet, I'm pretty sure everyone is here just to give me lots of lovins!! :) I'm a great size to make you a pawsome action adventure type companion, whether it's going for neighborhood strolls, camping trips or hikes in the wilderness, I'm willing and ready! And then after our fun, I love my beloved snuggles by the fireplace (on the couch is fine too). I'm up for trying it all with...YOU!! If you are looking for a "dog of a different color", then look no further!! I for sure want to be your gal!!

Age: Approximate DOB 4/8/2023 Weight:  Dog friendly: Yes Cat friendly: No Kid friendly: Older/Considerate Kids Only Potty trained: Yes, good on a schedule Crate trained: Yes, does well in the crate when left alone Meet Clyde! He's a beautiful boy that loves snuggling and belly rubs once he gets to know you. He's shy in new situations and when meeting new people but warms up quickly. He loves playing with toys, chewing on bully sticks and pig ears, and will do pretty much anything for a treat! He's also a pretty quiet boy and rarely barks. Clyde needs to have a home with a fenced-in yard and no cats since he has some prey drive and startles easily at loud and unfamiliar sounds. He loves being with his humans but would do best in a home without small children since he is mouthy during petting and play and jumps up when he gets excited. Clyde is crate trained and potty-trained on a schedule. It would be great if Clyde found a home with another medium/large dog to play with and help him with his confidence. We're currently working on leash skills with him since he gets nervous on walks but having another dog next to him makes him feel more safe and secure. If you just give him a little bit of time and patience, Clyde will be a great companion to the right family!
