She loves car rides and cuddling and playing.I'm so very pleased to meet you!  I'm good with kids and love other dogs. I like to spend my days busying myself with toys and doggie chewies.  I like to stay active too by running and playing in the yard.  However, I usually fit a few naps into my day as well.  After all, who doesn't like a nap?  I'm learning that I really should go outside to do my dirty business but it takes time to establish those habits.  I love to cuddle with my humans too. I'm searching for a fabulous forever home to share my life and love with! When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.  Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks. Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.   //

He loves playing with his sister.  He has figured out how to go up a couple stairs but is hesitant on going down the stairs.  He sits at the top and whines, it's super cute.  He has been sleeping well in the kennel and goes right to sleep overnight and during the day when we are at work.  I do come home at lunch and let him out to go potty.  He is doing great at going potty outside with minimal accidents. He is not fond of having a leash on, he would prefer to chew on it but will get better with practice. He absolutely loves being outside and exploring. He enjoys chewing on bones and bully sticks while he is teething and is the biggest lovebug. He's looking for a family of his own. Is that you? Alma is such a cute little girl born 3/20/23. I mean look at that face!   She is very playful with her brother and my resident dog and loves people.  She has been sleeping well in the kennel overnight and during the day when we are at work.  I do come home at lunch and let her out to go potty.  She is doing great going potty outside with minimal accidents on a schedule. Meet Henry! He's a curious dog who loves to explore and get belly rubs. He's as sweet as can be with humans, but tends to get pushy with other dogs if they let him. He does play nicely with several dogs at the rescue with no issues, so he needs to meet any potential playmates. He needs boundaries and training like any other dog, he's intelligent and eager to please his humans. He's house trained and adores his human. Henry is about 18 months old and weighs 55 pounds. Hi, my names Nutella! I’m new here from Alabama. I am equally obsessed with my foster momma and siblings. I follow Mom around like a shadow when I’m not chewing on a bone or playing with my foster siblings! There are two of them and I love having multiple playmates. I may only have 75% of the legs they do but still have 100% of the fun!! My Foster mom says I still have that adorable puppy energy, am good at going into my kennel, and am working really hard to potty outside. I just hate to miss out on the fun inside for something as silly as my small bladder! Don’t let my 3 legs worry you, I get around like my 4-legged friends and the humans say I’m all healed up! My foster mom can pet my scar and I don’t even flinch. I’m getting stronger and have gotten more confident with stairs but sometimes if I’m tired I think it’s fun to slide down them like I’m at a playground. I haven’t mastered the long walk concept YET but I’m practicing. I like short walks with lots of breaks, but I know I’ll gain stamina as my surgery dates get further away. I never tire of playing around the house though. I just had my amputation about a month ago (estimated end of April) so Mom says that’s to be expected. Momma also thinks it’s so cute, whenever I shake, my entire body shakes with me. I sometimes stumble without my 4th leg but I don’t let it get me down! Mom says I have the sweetest smile all the time! I’m hoping for a life full of play and fun, will you be a part of it? 🤍--------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spay/neuter before adoption unless age is a factor with a puppy younger than 6-12 months at the time of adoption. If that is the case, the spay/neuter will be covered in the adoption fee and the owner will be responsible to have the procedures completed at a Warrior Dog Rescue Veterinarian at the appropriate time.Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions.
