Story
Chief is a 70 lb., 1-year old Mountain Cur that I adopted in Nov 24 from the human society. Chief is a good dog: energetic, silly, cuddly, active, empathetic, playful (especially with other people and dogs!), loves the outdoors, yet a true lap dog at heart. Chief needs a new home because my situation has drastically changed. Previously my husband was able to work from home, but he is now required to work from the office. Chief does not do well trapped in a house or a small kennel for long periods of the day. His best life would be living with a loving owner or family who could provide him with lots of attention and activity and a large fenced in yard or farm. He seems like he would be a great hunting dog, as he tracks everything in the sky. Research the traits of a Mountain Cur-- Chief matches nearly all of them. Space to run and attention is a MUST!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi, I’m Betsy Boo!  I just arrived at my foster home, and let me tell you—I LOVE it here!  I made friends right away with my big brother and sister, who are teaching me how to be the best pup I can be. I also have a cat roommate… I think he’s fascinating, but I’ve learned he doesn’t love me quite as much as I love him.  Mornings are my favorite because—BREAKFAST! I wake up around 7 AM, go outside to potty, eat my meal, then head back out for some fun. If my people are home, I’m out and about with them, but if they’re gone, I hang out in my kennel. I sleep in my kennel at night, too—though I do whine a little because I just love people so much! I get SO excited when my foster kids come home—I cry with happiness every time!  I adore everyone I meet, and I’m working really hard on not jumping up to say hello. I already know how to sit and shake, and I’m learning new tricks every day! I’m super food-motivated, so training is a breeze. Toys? LOVE them. Especially stuffed animals. Tug-of-war? My favorite!  But personal space? Nope, never heard of it—your space is my space, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.  I can’t wait to find my forever family—could it be you?    Betsy Boo is from an Owner Surrender. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. George is a snuggly, smart boy. He has the most handsome brindle coat with grey eyes and big floppy ears. Toys, outside adventures, treats, playing with my big dogs, and lap snuggles are his favorite things. He has been cautious with meeting new dogs and objects but quickly warms up to new experiences. George is a snuggler and loves to sit on your lap or sit on the ground and get pets He is SMART! He learned how to sit and lay down so quickly for a little guy and is doing great learning to be quiet and relaxed in his kennel/crate. He loves learning new things for treats and has caught on to sitting politely to get more attention. He is pretty big for his age and will likely be medium-large as an adult. For potty training, he is doing very well with understanding that outside is the place to go. When in his crate, he has been able to hold it for 4 hours solidly during the day and up to 6 hours overnight, impressive for a growing bladder!    George Boy is from an Owner Surrender. He’s potty trained on a schedule, and is crate trained. He will let you know he's not happy about going into the kennel with some protests but quickly snuggles in for bedtime and sleeps all night!    This sweet boy is affectionate and loves cuddles. He’s a total love bug and will follow you around the house, wagging his tail.  Hankie is active and playful, enjoying being where the action is.    Hankie is looking for a loving family who will continue his training and give him the attention and care he deserves.
