Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.wagoninn.rescuegroups.org Paisley was pulled from a high kill shelter in Louisiana, and surprise... she was pregnant! She went to live with a foster family and had a healthy litter of pups. Paisley arrived in NJ on September 9th. She's done with motherhood and ready to find her forever home! Paisley's foster mom says she's a happy go lucky girl who's settled in very well. She's been a busy girl since arriving to the Jersey Shore... going for walks, car rides and even goes to work with her foster Mom to help out. Here are some things we've learned about this sweet girl:   - Paisley has very good house manners. She only touches her toys and has learned what is hers quickly. Completely house trained, no accidents!   - She has been to Pop Warner Football games, Little League Baseball games and does well in every new situation. She has fun everywhere she goes and loves meeting new people.   - Loves squeaky toys, Nylabones and will chase tennis balls. She loves being outside! She can amuse herself and quickly settles down to relax.   - Dog friendly! Loves to play & wrestle with her foster sister.   - Excellent in the car. Paisley is always ready for an adventure!   Her foster mom says, 'This affectionate, smart girl is an absolute gem and it is our privilege to foster her. She loves to snuggle and give kisses. Her tail is constantly wagging as she learns all about being a Jersey girl. She'll make a great family dog!'   Paisley has been fixed, microchipped, treated for parasites and she is up to date on vaccines. She tested negative for heartworm. Her adoption fee is $400.  How to Adopt Me! If you are interested in learning more about me, and possibly making me part of your family, please go to  wagoninn.rescuegroups.org . Story
GRRRR-eat!!!  Check out Tony the Tiger’s cousin Arlo!!  He’s always dressed and ready for Halloween in his handsome tiger-striped Tony the Tiger suit!  But seriously, look at this boy!  Look at those GORGEOUS markings that alludes to Boxer/Mountain Cur mix....especially with the docked tail!!  This boy has it all!  For starters, Arlo is great with other dogs!  He’s a little timid to be honest and not an ounce of dominant personality at all.  As for the cats, he seems to be good with them when he was introduced to some.  Arlo is a 2 year old, 70 pound, neutered boy who is UTD on his vaccines and on his preventatives!  He is well cared for by the rescue and his foster mom.  He is very gentle and would do well with dog savvy children.  He does well on a leash, but would be great with regular walks and outings.  His favorite thing to do is go riding in the car where he sits shotgun and he looks like a pro.  He adores watching the world go by fast and he enjoys the scenery with a big smile on his face.  This beautiful boy is ready to bless a forever family and to join in the fun during the holidays.  Please consider making him a true member of your family!  Just email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com  ASAP! PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.December 8, 2023, 9:38 am

Story
Hi, my name is Phoebe and ) My brother, sister and I were dumped on a random property in rural  Mississippi when we were only three months old.  Luckily, a nice lady who lived nearby heard us crying and took us in until she could figure out how to help us find a rescue to help us.  Then another nice lady saw our story on Facebook and came to pick us up to bring us back to her house in Franklin, TN so that she could work with Critter Cavalry to find good homes for us.  My brother has been adopted and my sister is with another foster family not too far away and I’m hanging out here in Franklin!  It’s kind of a mystery exactly what our mom and dad may have looked like...thought I'm a brindle, would you believe my siblings were all white?  Most people think we’re made up of Labrador Retriever and German Shepherd, and maybe a little Husky.  And because of my color, probably Mountain Cur.  I’m four months old and I weigh about 15 pounds and I have big feet.  I’ll probably be 50-60 pounds when I grow to be an adult.  My foster mom says I’m “all puppy”…full of energy and very playful!  She’s taken me to play with other dogs and I really love that!  There’s a cat in the house but she doesn’t seem to appreciate that I want to play with her (my foster mom says she doesn’t like anybody).  I know I’d be good with other cats!   I’m doing well with potty training and I sleep eight hours at night.  My foster mom says being mouthy to get attention,  is my biggest challenge, but she’s working with me to break that habit.  I love to run and play in the yard and I’m very inquisitive.  Since I have a lot of energy, I’d LOVE to find a family with other dogs or older children…or both!  I love to give hugs and kisses and I’m a very happy puppy!  Contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com if you are interested. PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comDecember 8, 2023, 9:38 am

Story
We are desperately seeking a foster home for our Luna girl. She's a 6 year old 50ish lb beautiful brindle girl.  A few months ago, Luna came back to us when her adopter’s housing situation changed. Without an open foster home, Luna went into boarding. She has been doing really well there, but we’d love to see her back in a home.   Luna hasn’t lived with other dogs before and we’re told she can be dog selective, so we’re looking for a foster home where she can be the only dog for now. She’s happy to pass by others on walks, we just don’t know yet if she wants to share space with them. Luna is not a fan of the crate so someone who is home more often than not who can give her time to acclimate to a new environment is ideal. Her biggest joy is hanging on the couch by your side. Luna  has a moderate energy level and walks pretty well with a harness. She is housebroken, but there may be an adjustment period as she transitions back into a home from a kennel. She’s very loving and attentive to her person. Although she hasn't lived with them, she is fine with kids.  If you can foster Luna, even if only temporarily, please email almosthome4dogs@yahoo.com     Luna is a 6 year old beautiful brindle girl. She is friendly and fine with kids.   Please email us at AlmostHome4Dogs@yahoo.com is the right one for you! (Local adoptions preferred — Philadelphia and tri-state area [South Jersey and northern Delaware] only.) PLEASE READ BEFORE CONTACTING US!  We are NOT a shelter: All of our dogs live in private homes with foster families. Come and meet the Almost Home dogs and their fosters at our Meet & Greet events, where you can learn more about our wonderful dogs from the people who live with them, find out which dogs are on their way and when they’ll arrive, and fill out an application to adopt or foster. We cannot adopt to homes where electric-shock fencing systems or training collars are used. For more information on the dangers of electric-shock collars, please visit banshockcollars.ca/studies.php and http://www.hollysden.com/say_no_to_shock.htm (scroll down and click on the  "Invisible Fencing Systems" link). We do not have an online adoption application; to request an application, e-mail us at AlmostHome4Dogs@yahoo.com. To speed e-mail processing time, be sure to note the name of the dog you are inquiring about in the Subject line. For Meet & Greet times and locations, visit our home page, where you also will find information on our adoption process and fees. FOSTER FAMILIES ARE LIFESAVERS!! Can you open your heart and home for a few weeks to homeless shelter dog? Remember, by fostering a dog, you save TWO lives — that of your foster dog, and that of the dog who takes his place in the shelter! Come to a Meet & Greet and find out if fostering is for you — there's no reward quite like the feeling that you've saved a life ... or two!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 6, 2023, 7:06 pm
