Located in Tennessee but can be transported to you through Rescue Riders. Jumbo was brought in with other puppies found as strays. He is a wonderful boy!! Friendly, happy and just a gentle pup. He gets along with other pups and has no issues with strangers or kids. He is curious and likes to see what's going on. He is learning how to use a dog door but will need puppy training. He is ready to find a forever family.

Story

We are sad to have to rehome our pup, who we adopted when he was one year old. He is a sweet but anxious dog and is not thriving in our home with two young children. He has been medicated for anxiety, which has helped a lot, but we have to keep him separated from the kids at all times. He would prefer a quiet home with adults and may do well with another dog. We live in the city, and he would likely thrive in a less urban environment and with a fenced in yard. He can resource guard high value treats or his cozy spot on the couch, but he is primarily anxious and fearful, not aggressive. We want to find the right fit and would be open to doing an overnight trial for a potential adopter. Happy to answer other questions!

This friend has just arrived to us on transport from a high-intake shelter partner! When our friends are new to us, we are often unsure of their full background. Our staff will spend some time getting to know them and update their bio with more information as we learn. They are pending interactions with animals until they have been cleared by our vet. Please note that we often are unsure of house, crate, car, and leash training status upon arrival. If you are interested in adopting this dog, please submit an adoption questionnaire!
