Tai is a sweet, smart dog that is friendly with other dogs as well. He is good with people outside of his home, but in his home he can be reactive to people that he doesn’t know, so he needs an experienced adopter. He is great with kids (we have three), but doesn’t do well with lots of people he doesn’t know coming in and out of the house. Smart and well trained, he knows sit / place / come / stay, is house broken, and great off leash. He is also crate trained.

Story
Meet Ekolu, our resilient, affectionate 6-year-old tripod. We adopted him from the Kauai Humane Society in 2020 after he was rescued as a puppy with a severe leg injury that required amputation. Despite his difficult start, he has grown into a loving, goofy, loyal companion who adores adults, cuddling, walks, and being close to his people. He weighs about 35 pounds and has recently developed mild arthritis related to life on three legs. As Ekolu matured, he developed reactivity that progressed to aggression toward other dogs. After an incident involving our infant daughter (no contact was made), we made the heartbreaking decision that he can no longer safely live with children. Ekolu is looking for a quiet, adult-only home with no other pets and an experienced adopter. He is deeply loved and has so much love to give the right family.

Beesly is a great dog that I’ve had for a few years. She’s well trained and well behaved. I’ve never had problems with her. Unfortunately, because I am a firefighter I often spend multiple days in nights away from my home and don’t have anybody that can take care of her, especially during these busy seasons wildfires are making me stay at work for multiple weeks. I want to find her a great home for somebody that can take care of her and love her

Meet Nolan, a sweet and goofy husky with a whole lot of fluff and not a mean bone in his body. Nolan was found on the streets, a rough start he definitely didn’t deserve, but you’d never know it from his easygoing personality today. He’s settled into foster life like he’s been doing it forever. Nolan is easygoing to the point of being a little oblivious, in the best way. He gets along with every dog he meets, mostly because he barely seems to register they’re there. He’s submissive and low key, with zero resource guarding over food or toys. Nothing seems to faze him. He’s also a total goofball with a lot to say. Nolan is a classic talkative husky, ready to “discuss” his opinions with an ah-woo or two whenever the mood strikes. Between the talking, the fluff, and the slightly airheaded charm, he’s hard not to fall for. If you’re looking for a laid back, dog friendly husky who’s more interested in being cute and cozy than causing trouble, Nolan would love to meet you.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
