Hi my name is Brutus. I am a lovable energetic 1 year old male. My mother is a jack-chi and my father is a chihuahua/poodle. I’m one heck of a baller and twig enthusiast. All puns aside, Brutus is still intact and is not completely house trained but he enjoys crate time which is a plus in my opinion. He knows the commands sit and down and leave it and with the right training a lovable walk companion. He is up to date with vaccinations. Let me know if you have interest in meeting him.

Meet Nakoa sweet and goofy husky with a whole lot of fluff and not a mean bone in his body. Nakoa was found on the streets, a rough start he definitely didn’t deserve, but you’d never know it from his easygoing personality today. He’s settled into foster life like he’s been doing it forever. Nakoa is easygoing to the point of being a little oblivious, in the best way. He gets along with every dog he meets, mostly because he barely seems to register they’re there. He’s submissive and low key, with zero resource guarding over food or toys. Nothing seems to faze him. He’s also a total goofball with a lot to say. Nakoa is a classic talkative husky, ready to “discuss” his opinions with an ah-woo or two whenever the mood strikes. Between the talking, the fluff, and the slightly airheaded charm, he’s hard not to fall for. If you’re looking for a laid back, dog friendly husky who’s more interested in being cute and cozy than causing trouble, Nakoa would love to meet you.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Meet Buster. He is a 5 year old mutt who was adopted during COVID. He loves being around people and loves outdoor activities. What brought us to this step has been a compilation of things. Primarily parenting and managing time for everything is becoming a strained process. Ultimately I wish I could care for him until the end but I know my limitations. He loves our kid and our other small dog. He is a good dog and I want to do right by him.

This sweet mother (Maggie) / daughter (Lucy) came to us as a bonded pair. The story goes they spent their life unhoused with their human, with an on-the-go lifestyle. When she could no longer care for them, a kind-hearted woman took them in. When it didn’t work with her, due to no fault of their own, she found them a place at to Lily’s. While we don’t know much about their past, we imagine they are used to their world changing around them, but the loss of their person has been a big one. Maggie is the worrier for the two, uncertain of what’s ahead. Maggie responds well to calm and consistent reassurance that she and her baby are safe. But it doesn’t take long for her to accept affection. She’s a sweet girl who wants to let her guard down and be the full-time cuddle bug she is at heart. Lucy follows her mom’s lead and is on the quieter/more timid side. But don’t let her fool you, while she won’t ask for pets, she will gladly lean in when they’re offered. Her loving heart is just below her shy exterior. While the pair is still getting settled into sanctuary life, they are beginning to open up more each day, and have even let us see their silly side, wrestling and running in the Lily’s dog park. They have gotten along well with all critters so far, thy even reportedly lived temporarily with another dog and cat and did well with both. We have no doubt these two will only continue to bloom and we can’t wait to see it. *Lucy is on the right in the photos.
