Story
Maggie has been the heart of her family for 15 years. Their family moved to Texas on Monday and just handed Maggie over to my husband and I without telling us and giving us a choice. We have no way of taking care of her, and our dog that we have at home is not handling having another dog in the house well. Maggie has 1 pain medication, and she has anxiety pills in case she needs them (she’s usually not an anxious dog, usually only needs it for car rides, 4th of July and when she’s in a new environment for the first time). Maggie is so friendly and sweet and loves to socialize with everyone, loves to sit on the couch without you and giving you kisses. We hope that someone can take her in so that we don’t have to go down the route of euthanasia because we can’t send her to a shelter without guilt, we love her too much.

Story
Ava is a soulful, resilient, deeply affectionate dog who has been through more than any dog ever should, yet her heart remains wide open. Abandoned in the desert while pregnant, Ava survived long enough to reach an organic waste facility, where she gave birth to nine puppies beneath a metal trash bin. Several did not survive. Against all odds, Ava proved to be an extraordinary mother- gentle, attentive, and devoted. That chapter is behind her now. Ava is ready for a safe, stable home where she can finally exhale and be someone's steady companion (and she will). I am a professional dog trainer and behaviorist, and Ava is one of THE most remarkable dogs I have ever known. She is highly attuned, loyal, and joyful despite her past. Her favorite place is simply near her person. Ava thrives with calm, confident humans who value structure, routine, and emotional steadiness. She is selectively social with dogs and has high prey drive, so a home without cats or small animals is best.

Bingo

Mutt

Female, Adult
Menifee, CA
Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Good with kids, Not good with dogs,
Story
Bingo is around 2 years old. She is a mixed breed but we do know she is part Phu Quoc Ridgeback which is a Vietnamese breed and has many characteristics of that breed. She has a very expressive face with wrinkly eyelids. She had a litter last year and was a very sweet Mom to her pups. The pups have moved on to new homes. She is a smart and sweet dog. Our 6' backyard fence has kept her in but she is capable of climbing or jumping 3' obstacles. She gets jealous of other dogs at times but can be playmates with the same dogs, even smaller ones. A bigger yard would be best as ours is extremely small. She loves walks.

Story
His name is Cooper and he’s 7 years old birthday October 30 2018. He is so shy at first but once he sees a stranger is not going to do him harm he is the most loving cuddle bug you can get. He has been loved and babied all his life and loves walks or just cuddle time during a movie. He’s not very good with young kids as they are unpredictable and he gets uneasy in that environment. But other than that there’s no other issues. I am willing to pay any vet fees, dog food, grooming (he currently get groomed once a month) for the rest of his life …he deserves it…I just can’t keep him anymore and it breaks my heart even writing this.. I promise you that you won’t regret taking this loving pup home.
