Story
Noah & Rosie are a bonded mother-son pair of Chihuahua mixes who must be adopted together. Noah is 3 (gray/white), and Rosie is estimated 6–9 (brown/white). Rosie was rescued from the streets 3 years ago after giving birth to 6 puppies; I adopted her and Noah and found homes for the other 5. Both are goofy, affectionate, high-energy cuddle bugs who LOVE fetch, toys, treats, and naps. Their favorite activity is playing fetch together in a park or backyard. Noah is initially fearful and may bark, but once comfortable he is incredibly loving. He is very afraid of cars and large buildings, so he needs open/natural spaces. He can be reactive but does not bite. Rosie loves walks and has made huge progress with training, though she can be reactive and wears a prong collar. They do well in daycare w/other dogs but aren't ideal for dog parks due to possessiveness of their person. They need someone home most of the time due to separation anxiety. Both are big barkers with BIG personalities!

Story
Boomer is a 10-year-old mixed breed who has been our family dog since 2016. He moved with us across the country and has been our "good boy/bad dog" for over 8 years. We just had a baby in August and have realized that we unfortunately can't keep him anymore and need help rehoming him.Boomer is:• Medium-sized (60 lbs)• Energetic and playful• Very smart (maybe too smart!)• Housetrained, neutered, and microchipped• Best in a home without kids or other animalsBoomer is very affectionate and loves to pet, snuggle, and go on walks. He does have a few difficult behaviors; he can be reactive, bossy, and a little anxious, which leads to jumping up, loud barking, and scratching. He needs an experienced home where he can be your one-and-only.💰 Rehoming fee: $0

Story
Meet Pancake ❤️ Pancake is a 4-year-old mixed breed (turning 5 this December) looking for her forever home. She was rescued in Mexico after being hit by a car. After being adopted, she was rehomed because another dog in the home was reactive. I adopted her when she was 2, and she’s been my best friend ever since. Pancake is incredibly sweet with people, loves giving kisses, and is calm around the house. Shes like a cat, happy to relax and keep you company. She’s fully potty trained, knows her commands, does well when left home alone, and has had extensive training. She’d do best as the only pet in a home with a secure backyard. She pulls on walks, is scared of cars and fireworks, and takes a low-dose anxiety medication. Rehoming her is the hardest decision I’ve ever made. My move to Los Angeles and demanding schedule mean she deserves more space, time, and love than I can give her.

Story
Ava is a soulful, resilient, deeply affectionate dog who has been through more than any dog ever should, yet her heart remains wide open. Abandoned in the desert while pregnant, Ava survived long enough to reach an organic waste facility, where she gave birth to nine puppies beneath a metal trash bin. Several did not survive. Against all odds, Ava proved to be an extraordinary mother- gentle, attentive, and devoted. That chapter is behind her now. Ava is ready for a safe, stable home where she can finally exhale and be someone's steady companion (and she will). I am a professional dog trainer and behaviorist, and Ava is one of THE most remarkable dogs I have ever known. She is highly attuned, loyal, and joyful despite her past. Her favorite place is simply near her person. Ava thrives with calm, confident humans who value structure, routine, and emotional steadiness. She is selectively social with dogs and has high prey drive, so a home without cats or small animals is best.

Story
Bella has been with me since she was a puppy. I received her as a gift in 2012. Unfortunately I am relocating out of the country due to work and am unable to bring her with me. She is very loving, enjoys relaxing and a good cuddle. She can be vocal and bark if she hears something outside or the doorbell rings. She is house broken and crate trained. She can be around kids but if they are very handsy and rough I advise against it. She has never bitten anyone. She does not chew on household items. She has lived with two other dogs with no issues. She has no health conditions and is still very active to be 14 years old. She is a great companion and I would like to rehome her to a loving family that will love her the way I have.

Story
URGENT NEED - CURRENTLY HOMELESSKeiko is a 12-year-old rescue dog in urgent need of fostering or adopting. She is currently living on the street with her owner.Keiko is a sweet dog, who loves sunbathing, but an abused life in and out of shelters has left her guarded with strangers and men. She takes about one week to adjust to a new owner. She is defensive around other dogs/small children if they invade her space, but is otherwise indifferent to them. She understands the following commands/words:NoSitUp-UpDownOffWaitComeStayLeave itBackAroundKeiko needs a sundown owner or experienced foster. She is still spry and can have puppy energy, but is slowing down every year. There is no adoption fee and she comes with a crate, bed, bowls, and leashes. Story
Loyal Companion In Need of a Calm HomeSeven years ago, Malta’s rescue photo stole our hearts. A Puerto Rican Sato with soulful eyes and endless resilience, he became part of our family alongside his littermate brother, Móle.Malta is a 7-year-old, 40-lb medium-sized Sato: athletic, affectionate, playful, crate- and e-collar-trained, chipped, vaccinated, and great with other dogs. He loves beach runs, trails, daycare playtime, and curling up close with his people.Since the arrival of our baby, Malta has struggled to fully settle into the changes that come with a busier home. We’ve realized he would thrive best in a calm, experienced, child-free environment where he can feel secure. He does have anxiety around unfamiliar people and needs patient introductions, but he bonds deeply with his humans. We’re in Long Beach, CA; we'd love his new home to be close, and we can support the transition with his trainer and daycare. Also open to the Bay Area and the Southwest if the fit is right.
