Story
We found Bear when he was around 3 months old in a Santa Monica parking lot abandoned by his owners and extremely skinny. We took him into our family, and he has been a beloved member of our family for the last 3.5 years. We now have two young children (one infant), and cannot give him the love, attention, and exercise he deserves, so we have made the very tough decision to find him a new home. He is very loving and loyal, but does have some separation anxiety issues, so someone who is experienced with dogs who need a bit more tlc would be the best fit. He gets along with other dogs very well (we had 3 dogs and constantly have him around other dogs), and we used to take him to the dog park often.

We cannot keep him long term as our family already has 2 dogs. He is friendly and likes other dogs and kids. He is not potty trained and will need to be neutered Currently in the Anaheim area

Story
Nolan was a foster fail with a very unhelpful foster foundation. Our original housing fell through and I am unable to continue housing him. Nolan is an incredibly sweet dog, I’ve know him since he was 3-4 months (now about 11 months) and have gotten to know him personally. He has a lot of energy that’s very hard needs to be exercised. He is definitely a mix of working breeds and it shows. He is very smart and learns fast so training will be no problem. He has spent the first 7-8 months of his life around an elder cat and has spent the last couple of weeks with a child (7 years old) and is very relaxed. I think he would do best with an active couple with no children but if you u have the energy to work and train him he should be okay.

Mutt German Shorthaired Pointer

Female, Adult

Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Good with kids, Not good with dogs, Not good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Gigi’s ideal family will see her for who she is: a loving companion who simply needs the right environment to thrive. She is not a dog who can be left alone all day or who will enjoy dog parks, but she is the dog who will be your shadow, your best friend, and your source of laughter and comfort every day. She will curl up next to you, watch TV by your side, and will always be up for a walk or backyard adventure At 4 years old, Gigi is smart, playful, expressive, and full of puppy-like energy. She adores people and does well with children. She would love a home with a yard where she can run, explore, and chase squirrels. Because she is reactive to other dogs, Gigi needs to be the only pet. She also has separation anxiety and may chew or drool when left alone, so a family where someone is home most of the time will be the best fit. It breaks my heart to say goodbye, but I know the right people will see how special Gigi is and give her the life I cannot.

Meet Freddy, an approx 2 year old 50lb best bully boy! He was abandoned by a homeless person on the green belt. Since he has been with us he has been fully vetted: neutered, microchipped, heart worm negative, all shots included leptospirosis. He is a snuggle bug who thinks he's a lap dog at 50lbs. His favorite pastime is snuggling in your blanket and he loves long walks...anywhere! He is not food aggressive, is learning basic commands and crate training quickly, is house trained and doggie door trained. He is ready for his forever home. Could that be you? Location: Long Beach, California Adoption fee: $75
