Story
Lilikoi ("Lili") is a sweet, affectionate six-year-old lab mix who loves her walks and being close to her people. She has a gentle, loving nature, does well with cats, and earned her Canine Good Citizen as a puppy. She’s had some training and knows her basics. She’s looking for a calm, adult-only home. She can be sensitive when resting or sleeping and has had a few bite incidents when startled. Because of this, she’ll do best with an experienced owner who understands dog body language and can respect her boundaries.Because we now have a young child, we’ve realized our home isn’t the right fit for her needs. This has been a very difficult decision, and we are committed to finding her a home where she can truly thrive.Lili is a loyal, loving companion who will bond deeply with her person(s).

Story
Benny is such a loving boy. He's an Xl bully mixed with a pit and we've had him since he was a baby. It's not easy needing to rehome him because we love him dearly. My fiance brought him home one day & was supposed to train him but he sadly passed away 6 days later. He needs someone who is experienced with training his breed. He's been raised with our 3 other dogs but he no longer gets along with our male and it's been chaotic keeping them seperated. Him and our female dogs are fine together. He's a loving boy and loves to go on walks and jogs. He also loves to chase after tennis balls and sticks. I'm hoping to find someone who will love him as much as we do. He's good with older kids and could be with younger ones too but needs training because he likes to jump up. He's a big ole baby, house trained and loving. Fee is negotiable. Any questions or for a meet with him please call or text (623)759-0576 I'm in North San Diego county.

Story
We rescued Duck from the Helen Woodward Animal Society when he was 4 months old. Duck is now 9 months old and we are looking for a good home for him, preferably with land and/or time to exercise him and let him play. He is a mixture of breeds, we believe he has some border collie, cattle dog, terrier in him. He would be an excellent working or herding dog and is very smart. He is house trained and trained with many commands. He’s an excellent listener and a loving dog. Duck absolutely loves people and loves to play with other dogs, he doesn’t love young kids. He would be a great addition to a home without young children. We’re hoping to find the right home for Duck as we love him very much. We just don’t have the time or space for his loving, high energy!

Story
Nico is 5 years old, he will be 6 in July. We adopted him from the humane society. He doesn't get along well with most dogs. We have two young children, and he's good with them. However if they get too physical with him, he has growled at them. We don't believe he'd ever harm them, but it is a concern we want to be open about. He is very skittish on hard flooring, and will walk backwards to get to a carpeted surface. He is very protective, and he will bark if he hears noise outside. He is potty trained, and can follow simple commands like sit, stay, and come. Overall, he is a very good boy who loves people and playtime. We just want to be safe regarding our children.

Story
Meet Lady: a beautiful two-year-old soul with a resilient spirit. Lady wound up at her town's local animal shelter not once, not twice, but three times throughout her short little life. With each shelter stay, Lady's fate hung in the balance, her future uncertain. But five minutes before the world went dark for her, fate intervened! Lady's story is one of perseverance, a testament to the indomitable spirit that resides in rescue dogs. With each return to the shelter, Lady clung to the hope that one day, her forever family would come for her. But time stretched on, and as she watched her kennel companions find their homes, Lady's hope began to waver. She wondered if her family would ever come; if the love she longed to give would forever remain unclaimed. From Lady's perspective, the days blurred together, a montage of waiting and wondering. She yearned for the gentle touch of a hand, the warmth of a loving gaze, and the sound of a family's laughter. No matter how much doubt crept into her heart, she clung to the belief that somewhere out there, her family existed. She held onto that glimmer of hope, the flicker of a dream that refused to be extinguished. And then, in June of 2022, Lady's life took a turn for the better. "The Pitty Committee" whisked her away from the shelter, ensuring that she would never face the threat of euthanasia again. From that moment on, Lady found herself in the serene atmosphere of South Lake Tahoe, where she has flourished under the loving care of her wonderful Foster Mama, Hailey! But, although Lady is safe from a dreaded shelter environment, her journey remains incomplete. She still waits for her forever family to find her.

Lady is more than just a dog; she's a lake-loving adventurer, a spirited soul who thrives on the joys of nature. She yearns for an active family, who will embrace her love for swimming, running, and frolicking in the sun and snow. Lady's heart knows no bounds when it comes to people of all ages. She adores children, and her boundless energy makes her the perfect playmate. She's a fetch aficionado, and her dock-jumping skills are nothing short of astounding. But what sets Lady apart is her unwavering loyalty, her eagerness to please, and her ability to melt your heart with a single glance. This beautiful girl has come a long way since leaving the shelter. She's crate trained, muzzle trained, and she listens to commands with a heart full of eagerness to please. She's not just a dog; she's a testament to the power of love and resilience. A promise of boundless joy to the family that opens their heart to her. Don't let Lady's story remain incomplete. She's been waiting and hoping for quite some time; she deserves a forever family to call her own. We ask that you consider Lady as the missing piece in your life, the companion who will make every moment brighter, and the love that will fill your heart. Complete your life with a furry friend who knows the true meaning of hope, love, and the promise of a forever home. Lady is waiting, and her love is worth the journey. Don't let her wait any longer; make her a part of your family, and create a story of love and happiness that will last a lifetime. Adopt Lady, and change both your lives forever! ♥
