Story
Sobaka is a 5-year-old 50 lbs sweetheart happy-go-lucky dog. She doesn't have a mean bone in her body and is an energetic companion. She is fully house-trained with an impeccable record and isn't a barker and doesn't drool. She is in great health and eats well. She currently lives with her sister, Tulsa, but would also thrive in a separate home. Sobaka is an active girl who enjoys "helping" with the gardening by digging the occasional hole, and she does shed seasonally (spring/autumn). Our family is heartbroken to rehome her. Due to a divorce and ongoing health challenges, I can no longer provide the activity and attention she deserves. To ensure her a seamless transition, I am happy to provide her new family with a food for the initial months.

Story
Tulsa is a 5-year-old 48 lbs dog with a human-like soul and a deeply affectionate personality. She is incredibly intuitive and was even a favorite at my office: she is calm, well-behaved in public, and loves everyone she meets. If you are looking for a true companion who wants to be by your side, Tulsa is that dog. She is easy to live with: she does not shed much, is not a digger, and is fully house-trained. She is great with kids and other dogs, though she'd prefer a home without cats. She lives with her sister, Sobak, but would also be good on her own. Tulsa has low thyroid, which is very easily managed with a single, inexpensive daily pill which she takes well. To support her transition, I am happy to provide a supply of her medication and food for the initial period. We are heartbroken to rehome her, but due to divorce and my health issues, I can no longer give her the activity and deep attention she deserves. Tulsa deserves to be someone's best friend.

Born June 2025 shepherd mix, black with brown stripes. Good family dog but no experience with small children. Should probably not go to a home with a cat, she likes to chase them. Can not go to a home with chickens.

Story
Meet Lady: a beautiful two-year-old soul with a resilient spirit. Lady wound up at her town's local animal shelter not once, not twice, but three times throughout her short little life. With each shelter stay, Lady's fate hung in the balance, her future uncertain. But five minutes before the world went dark for her, fate intervened! Lady's story is one of perseverance, a testament to the indomitable spirit that resides in rescue dogs. With each return to the shelter, Lady clung to the hope that one day, her forever family would come for her. But time stretched on, and as she watched her kennel companions find their homes, Lady's hope began to waver. She wondered if her family would ever come; if the love she longed to give would forever remain unclaimed. From Lady's perspective, the days blurred together, a montage of waiting and wondering. She yearned for the gentle touch of a hand, the warmth of a loving gaze, and the sound of a family's laughter. No matter how much doubt crept into her heart, she clung to the belief that somewhere out there, her family existed. She held onto that glimmer of hope, the flicker of a dream that refused to be extinguished. And then, in June of 2022, Lady's life took a turn for the better. "The Pitty Committee" whisked her away from the shelter, ensuring that she would never face the threat of euthanasia again. From that moment on, Lady found herself in the serene atmosphere of South Lake Tahoe, where she has flourished under the loving care of her wonderful Foster Mama, Hailey! But, although Lady is safe from a dreaded shelter environment, her journey remains incomplete. She still waits for her forever family to find her.

Lady is more than just a dog; she's a lake-loving adventurer, a spirited soul who thrives on the joys of nature. She yearns for an active family, who will embrace her love for swimming, running, and frolicking in the sun and snow. Lady's heart knows no bounds when it comes to people of all ages. She adores children, and her boundless energy makes her the perfect playmate. She's a fetch aficionado, and her dock-jumping skills are nothing short of astounding. But what sets Lady apart is her unwavering loyalty, her eagerness to please, and her ability to melt your heart with a single glance. This beautiful girl has come a long way since leaving the shelter. She's crate trained, muzzle trained, and she listens to commands with a heart full of eagerness to please. She's not just a dog; she's a testament to the power of love and resilience. A promise of boundless joy to the family that opens their heart to her. Don't let Lady's story remain incomplete. She's been waiting and hoping for quite some time; she deserves a forever family to call her own. We ask that you consider Lady as the missing piece in your life, the companion who will make every moment brighter, and the love that will fill your heart. Complete your life with a furry friend who knows the true meaning of hope, love, and the promise of a forever home. Lady is waiting, and her love is worth the journey. Don't let her wait any longer; make her a part of your family, and create a story of love and happiness that will last a lifetime. Adopt Lady, and change both your lives forever! ♥

Story
Cowboy had a fragile start. He was found lying in the dirt with his umbilical cord still attached, and it was assumed his mother had rejected him, so he was adopted out at just one day old. Neonates require feeding every two hours, but Cowboy received inconsistent care and his health began to decline. When Ava, his mother, and the rest of his family came into our care, the finder asked if we could take Cowboy also-of course we said yes. He was just one-fifth the size of his siblings and got plenty of solo time at the milk bar. He soon caught up and is now healthy and thriving. Cowboy has the softest energy of all the pups. Introverted, gentle, and observant, he is not a social butterfly; but with those he knows and trusts, his playful, goofy side shines. He has been bounced around too much in his short life and deeply craves safety and stability. Cowboy deserves a calm, steady home where he can finally feel safe. Any family would be so very lucky to have him. This boy has my heart.

Story
Ava is a soulful, resilient, deeply affectionate dog who has been through more than any dog ever should, yet her heart remains wide open. Abandoned in the desert while pregnant, Ava survived long enough to reach an organic waste facility, where she gave birth to nine puppies beneath a metal trash bin. Several did not survive. Against all odds, Ava proved to be an extraordinary mother- gentle, attentive, and devoted. That chapter is behind her now. Ava is ready for a safe, stable home where she can finally exhale and be someone's steady companion (and she will). I am a professional dog trainer and behaviorist, and Ava is one of THE most remarkable dogs I have ever known. She is highly attuned, loyal, and joyful despite her past. Her favorite place is simply near her person. Ava thrives with calm, confident humans who value structure, routine, and emotional steadiness. She is selectively social with dogs and has high prey drive, so a home without cats or small animals is best.
