Story
Laika was recused from ACCT Philly almost two years ago as a puppy. She is a very energetic dog who loves to chew bones, bound around the park, play outside, sunbathe and destroy plushy toys. She can run along with us for 5 miles and walk seemingly forever. She also loves to snuggle up on the couch or in bed, getting as close as physically possible. She is a very affectionate dog. She loves giving kisses. She knows sit, lay down, paw, and come. She is good with most dogs but responds with excitement and occasional aggression to reactive dogs. She is very strong and pulls on the leash, so she will need an owner who can handle that. We use a front leading harness which helps a ton. She is a goofy, clumsy, fun dog who ideally needs an owner with a very active lifestyle, no cats/ children, and a big old yard or outdoor area for her. She is good off leash in empty spaces, but will chase a squirrel/ dog. She is okay sharing toys and feeding time with her dog brother at home. Please reach out

Story
Doc is a small - 35 lbs, very smart, and curious dog who brings so much joy to the people around him. He is incredibly easy to teach and already knows many tricks including sit, lay down, roll over, spin, shake, wait, stay, kiss, and more. Doc loves being with his owners, enjoys long walks, and is happiest when he has time to run and play. He is kind-hearted and playful, and he gets along well with other dogs. However, he can be very excitable around new people and dogs, and he doesn't always respond well to cues. He needs regular exercise, but settles nicely in the home and can be calm once his needs are met. Doc is crate-trained and is a chewer who does best when he always has bones or chew toys available. He loves walks but currently pulls on the leash; it's something I am confident will improve quickly with continued training. We adore Doc and have invested a great deal of time, love, and training into him, but despite our best efforts, having two dogs just isn't working.

Story
Cailin is a very sweet dog who would thrive in a home where she is the only pet. She loves to be near her person and would accept your pets all day. She is a medium energy dog who doesn't need a lot of exercise. She likes being outside though. She is a bit anxious and is taking doggie prosaic to help her manage. Her current situation is not the best for her. We have 2 cats and live on a 1st floor place on a busy street, so she is barking a lot and likes to keep the kittens on the other floor. She would love to be in a quieter home and be the only per to get her person's love.

Story
Nova is such a great dog! She is nervous around new people but once she meets them outside her home on leash she accepts them. Men may make her nervous at first but once she feels safe she warms right up to them. She is house trained, walks good on leash, is crate trained, loves belly rubs and affection. She is low to medium energy, just learning to play. She will come with a travel crate, her food, toys, and slow feeder since she eats a little too fast. She quiet in her kennel but does snore! Nova cannot be in a home with cats or smaller animals. She will follow her person or people around and wants to know whats going on. She has been fine with teens who respect her boundaries. She loves her toys and will go pick them out of her basket when she wants to play. She loves to ride in the car and has been wonderful in longer trips of 3 hours or more. She is heartworm negative and will have remainder of years monthly prevention to go with her

Story
We rescued Rip when he was just 8 weeks old from Providence Animal Hospital in Media, Pa. He is now 4 years old and with great sadness we have made the decision to find Rip a new home. My wife and I have a 9 month old baby and another baby on the way and are finding it difficult to for Rip the attention he deserves. Rip is a very energetic dog and loves to play and go for long walks. We are looking for someone who will be able to love our boy as much as we have over the last few years and give him the time and attention he needs.
