Story
Kuiper is a very sweet dog that thinks she is actually a cat. No amount of explanation will convince her otherwise. She loves to cuddle and play with cats and adult humans. She was not introduced to children until she was an adult dog and so she is very confrontational with humans that are under approximately 10 years old. Kuiper’s owners are expecting their first child and need to find her a new home away from scary children!

Story
Artie is a lovable, energetic and handsome black/white mix breed dog. He would be happiest in a home that has some yard to play outside, ideally with a fence. Artie's owner is looking to find him a new home because of health issues and wants to give him a better home environment.Artie lives in a small home on a busy street, and does not have regular access to secure open space. He has to be on leash when outside. Artie loves the outdoors and is very friendly. He will greet you with a happy dance and loves belly rubs.Artie was adopted from Providence Animal Shelter at 3 mos. and is well trained. He is smart, learns quickly and responds to positive reinforcement. He is sweet with babies, affectionate, and used to being around other dogs. Traveling is easy because Artie does not mind car rides.Artie deserves a loving home where he can run around and play outside. He enjoys long walks in the park, and will quickly become your best friend. Owner can provide vet/trainer recommendations.

Story
Odin is looking for his forever home - not by his own fault. This sweet, smart boy is an affectionate pup ready for his forever home. He’s crate‑trained, eager to learn, and picks things up quickly. Update: He graduated to being fully house-trained!He has a calm personality with fun puppy bursts, goofy play, and the occasional play mouthing as he learns good manners. Odin gets along with most dogs; he needs a little time to adjust. He is currently living with 3 other dogs of various ages/sizes. The youngest is a 10-week pup that Odin loves romping with.To thrive, he needs a home with no small pets. He does best with structure and a confident handler with some dog experience. He also has a high prey drive — which is why he needs a new home. With 10 birds in the house, it’s simply not safe.He bonds deeply and will be a loyal “follow‑you‑around” companion. If you’re ready for a devoted sidekick with tons of potential, he just might be your perfect match.

Story
Once he feels comfortable and safe, he is a very loving and fun dog. He loves sunbathing, long walks, running in the woods, playing with his toys, and finding cozy places to sleep. If he sees a blanket or pile of clothes, he’ll happily curl up on it! He does have behavioral challenges. He struggles with separation anxiety and can become destructive with his kennel or things in the home when left alone. He also dislikes loud or beeping noises. He is not a good fit for small children or crowded homes, as he can become nervous and does not like being touched by people he doesn’t know. He would do best with a patient, experienced owner who can respect his boundaries and give him time to adjust. He is a great dog with a lot of love to give, and I truly want to find him a home where he can be happy, safe and understood! This is a very difficult decision, but my life has become much busier, and I can no longer give him the time and attention he deserves.

Story
Hercules was found wandering the streets of Los Angeles and is suspected to be between 7 and 8 years old. Hercules belonged to my son, who unexpectedly passed away in June. He is currently on an extended vacation at a boarding facility until we find the right home. Hercules is SO affectionate, SO playful, and loves going on long walks just as much as he loves curling up on the couch with you for a nap. I know all dog lovers think their dog is the best, but Hercules is without a doubt one of the best animals I have ever met and I would take him in a heartbeat if I could. Despite being a stray, and the loss of his most recent owner, Hercules wants nothing more than to be your best friend. He thrives off of attention, but is also okay being alone. We are looking for experienced adopters because even though he is the sweetest pup in the world, he is VERY strong and is reactive to SOME other dogs (so if you have another dog in the house, they would need to do a meet and greet).

Story
Ducky is the sweetest, happiest, most energetic girl who is looking for her forever home! ❤️ I agreed to foster her for a friend who unfortunately can no longer keep her, and I really want to make sure we find her the amazing home she deserves. Ducky is house-trained, smart, loving, and full of energy. She already knows sit and down and responds really well to training. She loves being around people and is the kind of pup who will keep you smiling with her silly, playful personality. Because she is an energetic girl, Ducky would do best with an active owner or family who can give her plenty of exercise, playtime, attention, and continued training. A fenced-in yard would be a huge bonus for her so she has a safe space to run and get her zoomies out! 🐕💨 More than anything, we want to find Ducky a loving, committed forever home where she will be treated like family and given all the love and attention she deserves. She truly is an amazing pup, and we know her perfect person is out th
