PHILADELPHIA, PA Meet Duck, a lovable 3-year-old mix weighing around 50lbs. He's fully potty trained, microchipped, and neutered, making him a wonderful companion. Duck is treat-driven and easy to train, and his vaccinations are up to date. He's great with people and has gotten along with all dogs he's met, although he may require further training on walks. Duck had a rough start to life and is easily spooked but with patience he will open up in no time!

Violet is a Lab mix rescued in 2020, currently 4yrs old turning 5 yrs August 30 weighing approx. 42lbs. She needs an experienced adopter who understands her reactivity and can keep her disciplined and consistent. She is reactive toward other dogs. Does well with our cat. She follows commands and her best one is Find It and high-five. Can be afraid at times and needs reassurance. Enjoys a nice warm bath and will allow herself in the tub for one and remains calm. She can be energetic but enjoys lounging and can be alone for extended periods of time. Enjoys long walks and being outdoors watching the birds and if she could, chase every squirrel encountered. Prefers quiet and stress free environments. She loves lounging on the couch and playing with her favorite toys and enjoys being by your side and on the lap. Desiring her a home who can love her dearly and continue to make her a successful and a happy companion.

I’m happiest when I’m doing something active with my owners. Want to go on a bike ride? I’ll keep you company. Want to walk or hike? The more miles, the better! Take me to the dog park and you can relax while I romp. When I’m not active, I like being around my humans. My family’s young kids are fun. Visitors are fine – I’ll bark when they enter to say ‘hi,’ then settle. Two things you should know. First, I don’t like when small dogs bark at me. They make me anxious. Second, a neighbor who confused my barking at his small dog with attacking it, kicked and hit me – and I bit him on the wrist to make him stop. I felt really bad about it – it never happened before and hasn’t happened since. If you’re an active family with a big yard and kids 10 years old or older, I’m your girl!

Puppy was a rescue. Had to move from a fenced in backyard to another place. Unfortunately, with next move unable to take him. Great dog. House trained. Had puppy classes and trainers. Been around other dogs and children. Needs space to run. Had trouble getting groomers but only since moving to this place. He was happy at the last place however circumstances changed

Story
Parker is a lovable 5-year-old mutt weighing around 60 lbs, and he's fully up to date on all his shots and vaccines. This sweet boy is playful, affectionate, and has a special attachment to his toys – he carries them around like his babies! He also has a surprisingly refined hobby: watching TV, especially sports. Parker is both potty trained and crate trained, and he’s a calm, easygoing companion who loves being around people and naps most of the day. He would thrive in a home with a yard where he can run and play to his heart’s content. While Parker isn’t the most social with new dogs, he does well with the ones he already knows, so with patience and slow introductions, he may be able to warm up to a new furry sibling. Parker is on anxiety medication to help him feel calm and secure, especially after the recent loss of his owner. He’s coping well, but the medication helps him adjust. Parker is looking for a loving forever home after the heartbreaking loss of his owner.
